Cashier was rude , unprofessional, and unfriendly . Shopped at store 3/31 at about 6:15 pm. Cashier’s name started with an S.
Cashier didn’t greet me , or seemed interested in even being at work. I get it . Times are rough . I don’t need to be someone to be overly happy , and bubbly to greet me . But I am spending money in your store , the most I’ve ever spent at a dollar store ( $54) I could have drove 2 miles to a Meijer for better service .. You are expected working with the public, to handle yourself as a professional, and still give somewhat of a “ I care about customers “ kind of attitude.. fake it if you have to..which she clearly does not have that mentality.
I asked a question about a product , if they carried it . She said “ I don’t know “ . I said ok... is there someone here that DOES know? Clearly no effort to try to figure it out , it was a simple laundry thing I couldn’t find going up and down the aisle myself for 10 min . She yells out a name and points , she can help you.
I asked the person who I assume was the mGr If she carried the product , she went back to look, came back , and brought something different, not what I was looking for . Ok. No problem . I thanked the Mgr for her effort. She clearly understands giving effort . I’m sorry you have employees that don’t care for your customers . Your still paying them a wage , and they are your front face of your business. You should be more selective of who you hire . She’s in the wrong position to be a cashier . Hide her in the back stocking where she’s not in contact with customers . Just my opinion.

Read moreI often shop at the store or this particular day. I was behind a person and talking on the phone to my Husband when I got to the counter. I was told that I could not purchase cigarettes because he overheard my conversation on the phone. I wondered how was he in my conversation when he should’ve been waiting on a customer I asked to speak to a manager and that’s when everything went left field very professional. I Rarely shop there now. The store is out of control. Products are not what they should be. Lane’s are blocked. Products are blocked its dangerous actually and I believe that listening to a person’s conversation on the phone with her Husband is a privacy matter. It’s probably illegal. I plan to reach out to their corporate about that matter Instead of focusing on my conversation, they need to worry about the people they allow to steal...
