Burger King — Restaurant in Laredo

I am a former worker at this Burger King. They do not treat their employees fairly, I was there for a year and started me off with $8. A year passes & I asked the general manager for a raise and the manager there kept saying that they’re inputting the raises. Time goes by and new employees are getting hired and we discuss topics on salary and the new employees claim they get paid .75 more than me and they claimed the manager asked for them to keep it to themselves. They favoritize employees and the hard working employees get taken advantage of by setting all the hard working and multitasking on them meanwhile new employees or “favoritized” employees are slacking iff, going to the restroom taking 30-45 minutes every other day. There was some employees getting paid $8 when being a cook and cashier when we were very short staffed especially in the summer. Her loyal employees are taken advantage of. I would talk to the assistant manager about this issue and she would just tell me that it doesnt matter as long as things get done by others. Another incident happened where I requested two important days off beforehand due to graduation etc. The general manager spoke with me and we came to terms. The day of those events, I don’t go in of course because everything was in place and confirmed. Then the next week starts and I’m not put on the schedule, I call the store and they tell me I didn’t call in to let them know i wouldn’t be working those two days. I asked if I’m still employed and that’s when the GM says I am not because of it. They did me so wrong with especially since I was the only one who would never miss, despite the fact I had no transportation and I had to walk home at night to my new home while working until 12/1am . I missed two days and they fired me because of it. That location does not appreciate their employees like...

I asked for a bacon double cheeseburger combo with Coke. When I got the drink, I immediately took a sip only to find it was flat. It was replaced but it was flat again. We drove off, I was about to eat my burger, it came plain and dry just as I asked but with no bacon, fries were unsalted. We drove back since I was charged for the bacon. When I pulled in, I told the cashier about the errors. I didn't even receive empathy, no I'm sorry. My order was taken back and they gave me a new burger. I got the burger, went back to the car , unwrapped it, And then saw it finally had bacon but it was not plain and dry. I went back frustrated this time and told the manager that the burger was not plain with cheese and bacon like I initially ordered. Again, I received no apologies. But, the manager took it into her own hands to make the burger as the employees kept messing up. I can't believe it took all that to get my burger like I wanted, I was upset because my boyfriend and I along with her daughter were supposed to eat at the same time in the car. My man finished his food first before I could get to mine so I asked if I could at least keep the wrong burger so I could give it to my boyfriend and we could eat together. At least they did that for us so I didn't leave too...

This Burger King was actually very clean when I went I know some people have mentioned it being dirty but I also know when people go during busy times you must expect top quality bathrooms during rush hour and want your food asap. However in reality people are only human and that is now how it works.

I went during a non busy time (7pm) , not really many people so everything was up to date bathrooms were clean, everything was nice, the playground was also clean, and the employees were nice!

Yes I did see some employees talking however once they got a order they quickly made it and it was fast and efficient. I am sure they were bored from nothing to really do.

I ordered a frappe, and it was very strong which I like ^^
