Belcher Farmers Market — Local services in Largo

Not a farmer market, it's an Asian market. With that said, don't expect to pick up fresh produce that are not typically included in those recipes. I have been shopping there for over 2 years, and I have a very restrictive diet. This place is still as clean and non-intrusive, yet minimally polite. You can wander around for an hour, if you like. If you ask, they are attentive. If you don't, they mind their business and expect you to be patient, like they are with you. The only thing that ever bothered me, was their bulk buyers blocking the entrance while loading their cars. I get it, they don't get much sales from walk-ins, their bread and butter is bulk sales. Still, I don't mind because of the selection and quality, not to mention the prices. I actually chided the owner for his low price on premium red rice. A year later, it was closer to average market price, still better than online order price, which is about the only other place you can find it around here. More people should visit this place and find their own treasure stash of Asian cuisine supply. Clean-great price...

Don't let the outside fool you. If you are in need of ingredients to make any asian dish they probably have it! They have some produce but mostly just produce to make asian dishes.

They have teas, coffees and other herbal medicines. They have cold drink coolers in the front that have coconut waters and Boba drinks in to grab and go.

All aisles are clean and well stocked. The store is not a new store by any means and probably could use some renovating however I think it's to be expected with the buildings age.

What a really great market for anything asian food and preparation equipment,utensils. They have all sorts of great fresh veggies,rice,flour,and pretty much anything else you can imagine. Prices on a lot of the oils,sauces,wraps,seaweeds,or any of the essential items needed to prepare foods with,were less than most normal grocery stores. They had all sorts of options for anything you could want,ever. I am going back and will start make my favorite asian dishes at home. I can't wait to get started.
