This is tough...a new kid on the block! First off, the regulars make this place all that it is and more!!! Otherwise I would rate it as a two star. The new owner "Newbie" is attempting to "fix" that what was not broken. So "Newbie" comes along and wants to cater to all...all being everyday regulars, sports fans and bikers. Does he??? The jury is still out. I think he comes from the school if it looks good than it must be good. Forgetting substance is the definitive word. An example...afternoon crowd of regulars, nice energy, music and TV interest, his son is running the bar and he walks in and changes the whole SCENE for the negative by creating a new light scheme, visual TV presentation and music, sending the message he was not pleased with bar management's scheme. This decision was made within one foot after arriving, not taking into account the current presentation Wich all were enjoying. This mind set the "Newbie" has is the fuel, IMHO that drives his decision process. Now I will continue to evaluate his learning curve. Giving you spaceicfit examples so you can decide on your own. Look back soon for more as believe me the best blunder is yet to be presented and you will be able to comment and if...
Read moreThis place was great at first. I felt at home and cheered for my team for almost every play. Next game when I went there, I was told to calm it down at the table very rudely and in front of a lot of people ( who were also cheering loudly ). Felt so uncomfortable and singled out that I didn’t even want to cheer or be there any longer. I went to the bathroom and was told as I waited in line to pee to calm It down in an even more condescending and rude manner. I support small businesses but will never spend another dollar at this establishment. Garbage. Straight garbage. This is the 5th time I’ve been there and each time they let other people cheer and have fun. Used to be a great place then my friends and I were shut down. Was told this isn’t an “Eagles bar” and to leave before anyone said anything different. I left and tipped nothing, as anyone in this position would. I then went to Muggs. They were welcoming and friendly. So nice to find a place like that. So friendly, endearing, and amazingly genuine. Never ever ever ever will I go to sharks ever again. Mugs is the place to go if you’re an Eagles fan and it’s super close by in that...

See I had a job for a few days (the 1st time & maybe 2 weeks the 2nd [long story]) that was directly behind it. BONUS! So I'll still meet my buddies up here every once in a blue moon. (Which actually I believe is a common misnomer. Has something to do with 2 full moons in a month or 3 of 4 in a season between the equinox & solstice which happens every 2 or 3 years, not the color. You can refer to the Farmers Almanac of Maine around 'who cares' and 'its been too long' ago). I digress...it was a pretty good time. The place was hoppin, busy as I've ever seen it. The very next time it looked like a job fair to be a Walmart greeter or I just walked in on a procession for AARP members. Could've been a formal thrown by Seniorpeoplemeet.com. But hey... they do have an out back patio area to smoke... soooo there is that. At the end of the day though.... 🤔..... ya... I'd go back. I mean you know what they say... older the berry,...
