Oddities And Antiques — Local services in Largo

Did not realize we had this kind of shop around in the area. We went to a similar place in Baltimore, MD last year and my son loved it. I'm so glad we found this place! Very cool store with lots of interesting and odd things. It's jam packed with everything imaginable and has quite a few different rooms to explore. If you are a collector of odd things, this is definitely the place for you.

We probably spent close to an hour in here just looking around. There was honestly so much to look at. Lots of antique medical supplies, strange things in jars, stuffed animals, women's vintage items, vintage fishing items, little trinkets and baubles, etc. There's even an outside area with large, strange decorative items. I'm not sure if they were for sale or not but they were cool to look at.

The store owner/staff pretty much left us alone to look around which was nice (I hate being hovered over). I don't think we were able to discover everything that the shop has to offer, there was just too much inventory. Will take...

One of the most awesome stores I've ever been to in my entire life. I love Halloween, so this store was great for me. The name says it all. Everything in here is very odd or very old. You will not find a single ordinary thing in here. This is honestly a very creepy store and I love it. It's also not just set up like a normal store. There are displays around the store that really add to the atmosphere. In the backyard there is a giant fake castle outside as well as a skeleton with wings hanging from a tree outside of it. The whole store has thousands of amazing things in it to look at. From real torture devices from medieval times to creepy vintage dolls, this store has anything out of the ordinary that you can think of! I'm going to go back as often as I can to see all the new stuff they get in stock....

From the chalk outlines painted on parking spaces to its multiple rooms and patio areas displaying dark and historic artifacts, Oddities and Antiques is as much a mini theme park as a gallery and shop. A sheet-covered mannequin on an old stretcher greets customers. That is, before owner Frank Miranda welcomes you into his little house of dark wonders. Miranda stocks hundreds of items from darker periods in history — old guns, munitions, shackles, whips, medieval cages, Soviet-era gas masks and other disturbing items mixed in with displays of antique medical supplies, skeletons, animal skulls, crystals and other random tchotchkes.
