3.5 STARS to be more specific, here is why:
Pizza: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: the pizza tastes good but wasn’t something special and also was cool after almost 1 hour waiting for it.
SALAD: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Chef salad have nice ingredient combination but the elaboration was poor, not well cut at all, I got a large tomato cut it in 4 peaces impossible to eat without cut it by yourself.
SERVICE: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The server girl itself was doing her best but she was taking care of the whole room of 14+ tables and no matter how hard she try was just not enough. I appreciate her effort but in general the sevice has not the best and not her fault.
SALT:⭐️⭐️⭐️ There is not salt at this place at all🤭.Neither the pizza, spaghetti, even the salad have any salt. I understand that everyone ad salt at their own preference but a bit of salt to make things taste doesn’t hurts anyone. There was also not salt on the table, I believe you have to ask for it.
TIMING ⭐️⭐️⭐️: It took almost 1 hour and 3 beers to get a salad and a pizza served 🤨
PAYMENT: ⭐️⭐️ while you are on 2025 this place is back on 1980, no cards payment processor, hand written check that I wasn’t able even to understand and thanks god they have an ATM to withdraw cash otherwise I would still there cleaning dishes 😆.
PRICE: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ it is in general and affordable and family friendly place.
In their defense I have to say that the place was really busy all time and with the lack of serves it makes it even more difficult.
Would I come back? Not for now to be honest, maybe I give it a second opportunity later...
Read moreOur neighbors said we had to go here so we picked a night, last night, and they took us. Supposedly they have the best Chicago style pizza around. We opted for a deluxe italian sandwich and a sausage/cheese/banana pepper calzone. Both came with a huge side of spaghetti. The calzone was about 12 inches long by 6 inches wide and absolutely stuffed to the gills with meat and cheese. (They forgot my peppers but that's ok, I didn't mention it.) The sandwich was great too! Juicy and loaded. Served with a side of au jus as they don't dip them. (They tend to fall apart) Everything was great from the food to the service. We met the owners' daughter. Apparently her dad, an owner, had passed away last year. Rough.... But she held her head high telling us his story. Off she went to wait on the rest of the place. She came back to box up our food and give us our check. She asked if he remembered the peppers in my calzone and I said no but that was ok as it was still delicious. Her response? "Well, it would have been better the way you ordered it." Spot on response. We enjoyed her. Everything was great. Prices are very reasonable. Huge portions of food. (We have left overs for at least three more days.) And service was great. Love the ambience and decor. To the owner and their daughter, I am sorry for your loss. You have a wonderful place. And given it was packed when we left apparently I am not the only one who feels this way. Very unassuming from the outside. But stop in and try something new. It didn't...
Read moreWe decided to try Untouchables 2 weeks ago because we heard the pizza was amazing. The first 2 times was a great experience and both times served by the manager. Tonight we decided to go there again after spending half our day in the hospital from a scare, I am 7 months pregnant. It was just a little busier than usual but nothing out of the ordinary. We were served once again by the manager and she just was not the same. She treated all the other customers surrounding us great but when it came to us she was short and would not smile. I called when I got home and I did not know she was the manager until today. I told her that she made us feel very uncomfortable and very unwelcome. She explained that she was busy up front...but, why treat all the other tables with such perkiness but us with an attitude? She told me she didn't know and she was sorry and that she did not know what else to tell me or do, very rude when telling me this. So, I told her that she lost our business (not that she cared anyway based on her tone). You know, it's nice to find family oriented places where my mom, my 18 month old, and myself can go. It helps because my husband is currently deployed overseas in the Middle East and I like to have my moments of enjoyment. Definitely will not be going back. Too bad, because I was planning on having a party there to welcome my husband back home in November. He has a lot of family here too. You're lost Untouchables. Yup (in the managers rude voice when she handed...
