Belleair Coffee Company and Tap House — Restaurant in Largo

I have been wanting to come here since they opened across the street. We decided to walk over for a coffee/tea and a pastry in the early evening.

Location-wise: It was very easy to walk to the cafe and the 52 bus stop, which will have increased frequency soon, is right around the corner. There was enough parking to feel comfortable driving and picking up a drink on your way to work.

Atmosphere: First of all, the interior was very welcoming. Just walking into the cafe lifted my mood. There were many types of seating that were thoughtfully placed throughout the café. There were sections for leisure, grabbing a bite to eat, having a quiet study session, or checking on some work emails.

Food/beverage: We ordered an iced lavendar earl grey tea latte, a hot flat white, and a croissant. My partner really enjoyed the tea latte; they said it was flavorful and refreshing. I really enjoyed the flat white I ordered. It was very flavorful; the espresso flavor was very clear and hardly bitter, with lovely fruit notes. The temperature of the beverage was at the perfect temperature. My clumsy, impatient self did not scald my tongue upon first sip.

They offered to heat up the croissant for me, but I decided to heat it up at home. I baked up the croissant in the oven and it was fantastic. It was very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Anyways, I hope they consider adopting a subscription service similar to Panera's sips; there's a lot of coffee-goers around the area that would definitely sign up for it, even if it came at a premium.

We haven't had their taphouse menu yet, but I've heard good things about it.

Aidan is hands down the best barista/register attendant at Belleair coffee shop. From the moment you walk in, he greets everyone with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. He remembers regular customers names and even their regular orders, which makes every visit feel personal. His drink making skills are unmatched. Every latte, cappuccino, or cold brew is crafted to perfection. Even during the busiest rushes, Aidan stays calm, efficient, and incredibly friendly. Not sure if it was the loud music in a coffee shop and I was misunderstood but customer service was horrible. Ordered a blueberry cake, iced latte with caramel drizzle & whip cream and iced americano with whole milk. Blueberry cake was never heated up as requested, No caramel drizzle in iced latte & iced americano came out black needed to yell out to the barista what was wrong with it due to the loud music, gave up trying to explain the issue after not being understood.
