I only went to the Pie Factory, which was not only awesome, but surprisingly fair, in price! Their Salted Caramel Cheesecake was the best I've ever had...& I LOVE cheesecake! Unfortunately, it loves me, too...sticks to me! 🤣 But seriously, I paid for a slice, which was $6, & while I thot that was expensive, comparing to others, it was fair. However, the WHOLE cheesecake was only $45, which, after comparing to others, was mostly less expensive, or, at worst, in line with others! The owner is a wonderful lady who is just delightful to talk to! Their other pies were excellent, as well, but especially, the Key Lime Pie, which I have never liked, but her recipe is quite different & outta this world! I believe she said she got her "secret" recipe from Key West, that she tried, while visiting, & it's a best seller! I wrote about this on the Pie Factory opinion page, thru here, but it's worth repeating! Thanksgiving 2020, I believe she said, in the height of Covid, they sold 600 pies, as well as 2021! So they made it thru Covid, & I very much hope they do even better than simply making it thru! Tourists & locals alike, really should frequent their little store, that has the "ice cream" look & feel! Not for the whole place, just Savory Restaurant. Our weekly dining out, where we try a new, non-chain restaurant every week. This week, it was Savorys, and what a great pick. Large portions, with each of us bringing home another meal. One taco salad that was huge and flavorful, one liver and onions (not me!) that my sister said was the best she'd had in years, and a sandwich I've just gotta rave about. It was the Tuscan Turkey sandwich, and it was beyond delicious. Real turkey, not off some deli roll, on a beautiful soft and flavorful ciabatta roll. But the crowning glory was the pesto sauce. OMG! This shopping center is owned by an investment group that is simply taking very little care of their property. A brand new Publix store was built in this location several other businesses have been remodeled but it is evident that the property management / ownership group does not care about the grounds they don't blow the leaves sweep the parking lot and don't clean up construction debris. I wish my favorite businesses that I go to all the time we're not located in one of these companies properties it definitely is a third-rate property and I feel badly for the people that have to pay rent there.
