This is a beautiful RV Park. Everything is meticulously maintained. The pool and the community center with a ballroom, bathhouse and laundry are immaculately clean. Most of the sites are permanent with transient RV sites scattered around. There is also an area that is for transient RVs. Our neighbors were all permanents and welcomed us. They invited us to join their “porch gang”. We enjoyed being their temporary neighbor. It is an urban park so the sites are on the small side. Our 34’ Motorhome and our Chevy Colorado pickup fit just right in the site that we were assigned. We were quite comfortable here. The staff are outstanding! Sheryl, Xandra and Bryan went out of their way to help us with something that was FAR above and beyond what we expected. Huge shout-out to Bryan for taking time on Sunday New Year Day to help us. We would certainly stay at Yankee Traveler...
Read moreWe needed a place to park our 32’ rv on very short notice. Weather was getting really bad, and so was my attitude as every rv park call ended with voice mail. I wish I got all these ladies names to properly thank them. The park seemed very well taken care of and had the feel of a lot of regulars. A few police officers seem to either live or visit there as I saw a few cars parked through out. Plenty of shade and the showers were hot and clean. Can’t ask for much more. Rates were also...
Read moreThis place has the most ridiculous RV policy I've ever heard of!
They have a 16 year old limit on all rigs, regardless of condition.
There are a lot of us that own Classic Airstream and other brand RV's that spent over $100k in restoration and customizations that are in much better condition than 99% of the rigs that stay here, but they are not allowed because they are "too old"
What's next... a "'Sorry, you are too old of a person to stay here" policy?
And when they say "a lot of other parks have the same rule" this is NOT TRUE! In 20+ years of traveling with RV's, many of them Custom/Classics, this is the ONLY park that refuses to make any exceptions.
Steer clear of this place if you own a Classic Airstream or any...
