Been a longtime customer of the Las Vegas store but no longer. August 2nd I received an email (I did NOT initiate this nonsense), from them about a “sale” going on. I looked and found a firearm I wanted with a very good price. Their site stated they had ONE in stock so I get my card and start the online purchase process to buy it…right!!! Fast forward I receive an email saying it’s mine and they charge my card stating it’s MINE! A while after they open, I drive over there walk-through the length of the store in pain as I just injured my sciatic nerve and approach the counter show them my confirmation email ID CCW, etc. after a few moments I realize there seems to be something wrong. Then some male supervisor, or whatever he is kind of approaches me aggressively. He tells me something that makes no sense, but ask if I can wait till the manager can speak to me I say yes. After probably a half an hour standing there waiting patiently in pain I asked the kid at the counter, “so who is it exactly I’m waiting for?” Then I’m advised I’m waiting for this. I guess the store manager I don’t remember her name but that she’s not even on property yet because she’s taking care of some other business so she’s not even at her job and I’m standing there like an idiot. At this point, I just say hey when you are ready with the firearm, let me know. I’m going home. I got things to do. I’ll come back and get it later on couple of hours. I get a phone call from this manager lady who tells me the firearm is not available, and I’m so sorry. The firearm is not available then what was this whole process? I just went through? Break up some silly reason it made no sense but hey if I still want to purchase it, there’s a 30 day mandate and you can buy it but wait I guess 30 days to get it. This is Nevada there’s no 30 day waiting on Firearms here I had just purchased a firearm there in June and walked out the store with it, so what are they talking about and when I point out my email saying it’s mine they charge my bank. Oh well we issued you a refund well why did that happen in the first place? It’s not really an explanation that made sense that they gave me. Bottom line The only thing I can think is they throw these promotions out lie to you that the purchase is yours just to get you in the store and give you some BS runaround so maybe while you’re there you’ll purchase other items. Haven’t had this bad of a customer experience since the last time I visited a car mechanic. Anyway, unless someone reads this that has the power to give me the same deal I was supposed to get within the next couple of days and I can walk out the store with this item. I’ll never ever go back and buy anything from this outlet but all I really expect is, comment from someone Saying how sorry they are for my unfortunate experience That’s all that ever happens with customers these days, right. That’s a rhetorical question. M.White (Just an update to this review, today is August 29th and since I posted this review I have received two more emails from Cal-Ranch asking me how I like my purchase-the SAME purchase I never got on this review. How’s that for getting back on top of things? Seriously folks, you can’t make...
Read moreC-A-L Ranch managers and employees recommend Donny Warmus, Double D Billards, for delivering your safe. i noticed on the business card there was no business license information. Thank goodness I did my research. Mr Warmus has a PERMANENTLY REVOKED Nevada State business license. He has no city or county license. Moving safes requires an additional NV State C.P.C.N. license which protects consumers and customers from shady moving companies. He is not bonded. I can't find any proof of property, liability or workmen's comp insurance (so if he injures himself on your property, he can sue you!) My friend 2 years ago had a nightmare with a delivery crew who damaged her property while delivering merchandise and because of no insurance, she had no recourse. the damage was $1,000's of dollars. I was going to buy 3 safes from C-A-L Ranch, but after finding out that how unprofessional their safe mover is, I did not want to give them my business. I went to Nevada Safes on West Charleston Blvd. They had 100's of gun safes, good prices and very important, a delivery crew which were their employees, who are drug tested and have passed a background investigation. The deliveries were very professional and I had peace of mind with strangers coming in my...
Read moreI ordered a custom rifle from the store. Note, I was told it may take time to come in. After 4 months and several phone calls, I decided to drive down to the store. Once there, one of the managers went to review the order and realised a mistake. I was told the mistake was corrected and give it a week. The rifle came in... and it was the wrong package entirely. Nobody took action on this order except to pay me lip service over the phone, it was only until I actually visited the store that some one took time out to track down the order. Now that I have the (wrong rifle package), I have to go thru an additionial expense of finding a third party that can outfit the rifle properly, the way I had originally ordered it. I filed a complaint to the main office, they responded with, hey we are sorry, what can we do to fix this? I asked for a discount on the scope and the rifle purchase and all I got back was crickets. I would not recommend this store to serious minded people shopping for hunting, shooting or other out door sports. Bass Pro are way more...
