Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling — Local services in Las Vegas

This place is a little small for a Coca Cola plant but it still has some space to work with. When you check in you'll asked to park out on the street until called to dock. By the way the truck entrance is on Mojave. The back entrance isn't open yet. The Mojave entrance is a small one. The right side of the guard shack is closed with a motorcycle parked there on the other side of the fence. There are only two lanes. The far left lane is the one for entry as the right lane passing right next to the guard shack is the exit lane. Unloading can be a little excessive as my driver manager woke me up asking if I was unloaded yet. It was getting close to my next pick up time. That was when I noticed I was docked for over 3 hours getting unloaded. I wasn't complaining because I got a little nap in. However had I missed my next load I would've been highly upset. Especially since I was held up for 2 hours at the shipper in California and missed my appointment time. That cost me $150 in late fees. Not an even trade off for the $30 I asked for in detention pay. But I got to see Vegas first hand for the first time though. Go figure! Downside? I missed placing a bet on the Lakers 6th game because I was too tired from the long hours. I slept the game away. I have been waiting for 2 months just for them to replace my Coca-Cola cooler. They said it’s out of stock until the end of the year. How does this happen when Coca-Cola is not a small company if you know what I mean. They didn’t even think to ask me if I wanted another model cooler until I mentioned it. The only helpful person there is named Jessie who has been waiting on a response from another lady named Dawn to get a different cooler. Meanwhile, Coca-Cola customer service has no clue what they’re doing nor do they even know if I’m ever going to get another one. I don't often post bad reviews. But drivers have to be aware and lower their expectations when coming to a place like this. Checked in by 8:15am, appointment for 9am, now is 1:30pm and still waiting. And the top line is you have to hire a 3rd party company from the town to come and restack your pallet if you are in need of. Drivers won't be allowed to restack. Thanks, Coca Cola, for wasting my whole day. Well done! Tip: ask your shippers to put an airbag on your loads! This should be a must on all water transportation loads to prevent load shifting! Nice...
