I did NOT feel like eating next to a nasty dumpster outside at China Hut so I tried this place and I'm glad I did! They were friendly to everyone in the line before me and treated me no differently. And my food!!! Bruh!!! That FISH PLATTER IS EVERYTHING! Fresh, hot, and enough rice to last you TWO MEALS. A lady came in and the server asked how her baby was doing which I thought was refreshing! They actually connect with their customers instead of taking your money, handing you a plate, and that's it.

I've been there 3 times this week and you can appreciate that you're dining in real restaurant, AC, music, etc. Just a better experience than China Hut period. I KNOW where to get good...

Will stick to China Hut Haitian Restaurant. Service was great. But, rice was cold and very dry. Very small gravy, so that didn't help. Pickley's are good. Griot was full of FAT! The fried turkey dinner was ok. They didn't have any rice or legume or patties prepared, although the restaurant had been open for 2 hours when I placed my order. I called ahead and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived about 20 minutes later and had to wait an additional 15 minutes.
