Country Butcher — Local services in Lawrence Township

We've been buying jerky from the Country Butcher for 40 years and we've never been disappointed, until now. For some reason they've soaked the meat in oil before packaged it. I cannot think of any reason to do that other than increasing the weight. I had to use a paper towel and dry off every piece as I took it out of the package. See the pictures below. They advertise lean ground beef on Thursdays for $5.99/lb when you buy 10 lb. I’ve bought it before and it was lean and good but we were really disappointed recently when we bought it.
