Wonderland Smoke Shop - Lawrenceville — Local services in Lawrence Township

I've shopped at Wonderland for years and am seriously considering not returning again. I have purchased glass for myself and others for presents there, and namely go 1-2x a week to buy hemp wraps and papers. One of the clerks rang me up for too many hemp wraps, I wanted 4 and he rang me up for 5. This cost me an extra $2. Realizing this when I got home, and knowing it would be impossible to prove and not a big deal in the long run, I did not call them back to report the error. Rather, I figured if I remembered when I went back the next time I would mention it.

Somehow I did remember, and I mentioned it to the other clerk who was working. I explained how the other guy had made an error (it was the end of the day and he was probably stoned) and asked if I could do the opposite, pay for 4 but receive 5 hemp wraps. Her answer was to count their inventory and check the computer, and reported that they weren't one short.

I declined to take it a step further, but she essentially called me a liar. I'm in my mid 30's and have no interest in scamming anyone for $2. The correct business decision to make, given her familiarity with me as a customer, would be to correct the error no questions asked. Now I feel insulted and have not gone back in almost two weeks and have been going to local bodegas that value and appreciate my hard earned money to buy my hemp wraps and papers. I will probably order my rolling supplies online and save even more money and most likely will never set foot in their store ever again.

I recently visited Wonderland Smoke Shop, and I can’t rave enough about the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and professionalism. The staff here truly goes above and beyond, and it’s clear they prioritize customer satisfaction. Cedric, in particular, stood out as an exceptional employee. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and made sure I found exactly what I was looking for. I believe I also interacted with another employee named Jasmine, and she was equally amazing. Her helpfulness and friendly attitude were a perfect complement to the overall positive vibe of the shop. Every time I’ve visited, the service has been nothing short of excellent, and I’ve come to realize that Wonderland seems to hire top-tier employees. Before I even walked into Wonderland I knew I was in for a treat. The lime green and psychedelic art reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland on the walls draw you in from the parking lot. Upon entering I was greeted by an energetic young lady who reminded me of a hippie version of Stevie Nicks. I made my way through the store and couldn't decide what to look at. The walls are detailed with hidden gems all over, the displays are packed with name brand pieces I have trouble finding anywhere else. Their selection of glass is one of the best I've ever seen. Their inventory of product is incredible and the girl working seemed to know the store better than I know most things. Her knowledge of each product and it's location in the shop was impressive to say the least. Since my first time, I can't stop going back. They always have whatever I'm looking for and the staff is always smiling. They're pricing is right on point and they're always open! Definitely the best shop in Jersey.
