Golden Empire — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

They use to have the best food but I don’t know what happened to them .one time I ordered ribs bits they were hard and not cooked all the way .when I called to get my money back ,he very dismissively told me to microwave it .i chucked it up to just one bad experience .but today I went and ordered chicken wings and shrimp fried rice .the rice was hard as if it was sitting there all day for someone else and they warmed it up in the microwave for me then the chicken wings smelled raw and when I ripped the chicken wings apart it was bloody .i can’t believe I store their number on my cell as best Chinese food .this is the last time I’m spending my money there .food was horrible .i threw up .18 bucks...

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. Don’t waste your time or your money. My last day before returning to college I spent with my dad and it was a memorable one highlighted by this awful food. I had my first blowout on the turnpike. Drove from Trenton to East Brunswick then back. All of that still doesn’t capture the excitement that I’m trying to express when telling how awful this food was. Those 4 stars must have been paid for.

Horrible. $9 for a PINT of fried rice. $12 for chicken and broccoli that is not even full in the container. Why are you charging these prices and shortening us the food?

When I called and told them their portion sizes are the worst i have ever seen from a chinese place, the guy told me "You can order more next time, sorry sorry."

Ripoffs. Do not come on here and write that you are trying to do better. You are a disgrace and should be ashamed.
