If I could leave zero stars I would. I had the absolute worst experience with customer service at the Party America in Lawrence Kansas. We had to cancel my payment and I was told I would get my money back that night. That was not the case. This happened Thursday 9/8. It is now Monday 9/12 and I still do not have my money back. I went back Friday, Saturday, and today. Today when I came back to ask YET AGAIN where my money is I was told it sounds like a you problem and she has no idea what she can do about it. She accused me of faking this so I told her to check the cameras or go back into the data base to check. Me, a 16 year old girl had to get tough with a 50 year old woman in order for her to DO HER JOB! She put it in as a return and "figured it out" in about 2 minutes. Not to mention she almost charged me AGAIN instead of making it a return. She told me the money should be back in my account very soon because it normally is like that, MEANING she knew how to do it the entire 5 days that I have been waiting. This showed me how extremely lazy the workers and OWNER of this store is. NOT TO MENTION it is absolutely disgusting in the store. If you moped the floors the water would be black. I have had an interaction with 3 workers ALL OF THEM have been extremely lazy and all of them seem high. I still do not have my money back. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!! She had me pay before she filled up the balloons, after I paid I went to a store next door while she was filling up the balloons. When I returned the balloons where complete and she handed them to me so I never saw them just sitting normally (I shouldâve checked to see how they looked). When I got home and looked at the balloons they where tied at all different heights. Some short some tall, didnât look like a balloon bouquet at all. And the $15.99 sweet 16 balloon that costed $9.99 to fill with helium was sunk to the floor. I called the store and immediately and nicely let them know the situation.    Read moreAlways disappointing! The store always looks like they are going out of business due to the lack of items on the shelves and general disorganization. I cannot blame these issues on this store being in a college town, because I have lived in much larger college towns with other big party stores that were always well stocked. They take orders but never give you a copy of the order slip. I have had orders lost and late due to the stores lack of organization. If you can only handle making so many orders at a time then stop taking them when you reach capacity. I have been turned down by other stores in the past when I planned poorly and tried to get an order 1 week before at a busy time of year. I feel bad for the staff left to fulfill these impossible number of orders. There is only so much you can do. I will try to remember to go to a box store or grocery...
