My daughter's bridal shower was at Pines. The set up was stunning! Instead of games, guests planted lavender in pots that we used for table decorations at the wedding. I was worried about keeping the plants healthy and blooming in a pot for 4 months, and I was frequently in the store asking questions. Trina not just answered every question I had, but invited me to bring the plants back in to show me how to keep the the lavender looking great. In fact, based on her expert guidance, all 27 pots of lavender were blooming in mid-August for the wedding. Several guests were excited to take a beautiful plant home to put in their gardens. I purchased several perennial and annual plants from Pine's in Lawrence, KS this past summer and I am so pleased with how well they all grew and blossomed! Pine's have an extensive array of plants you may not find anywhere else, the lay out is nice, it's not too large like some places but it is big enough to have a wide array of unique plants, shrubs and large potted plants. I would recommend this garden center to everyone. The prices aren't big box store prices but you certainly get your moneys worth, I'm still enjoying the blooming plants I purchased 5 months ago! I absolutely love this Nursery. A good selection of plants, vegetables and herbs. The staff is very knowledgeable about their products and how to plant/when to plant. So if you have any questions feel free to ask them. They are extremely friendly. The only complaint that I have is that their parking lot is never big enough.
