Tom, the owner, is such a friendly and honest guy, as well as his staff. I knew nothing about his shop until dropping in one day and was sold just from the casual conversation. Tom doesn't mind taking the time to answer or explain anything about the equipment or services. I bought my first head unit, amps and speakers from University Audio when I was in high school. The equipment moved from car to car for several years until they ended up in storage. After a couple years went by I cleared out the storage unit, finding the old equipment and went back to to get some more. I told them what I had done and Tom said, "you may not need to buy anything. The old equipment is pretty resilient. Bring it in and let me test it." Long story short - he put the old equipment in my truck, talking me out of buying anything! That's honest...

I haven't had fully functioning speakers in my car for 6+ years and I drive by University Audio every day on my way to and from work. I put off going in there for months because I didn't want to waste my time but I finally took the plunge last week. Best decision I've made!! They didn't try to sell me things I don't need, stuck to my budget, and I had new speakers within 3 hours of walking into their store. LOVED it!!!!!! Definitely going back to get a new stereo setup....
