Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lawrence

I placed my order and confirmed that everything was correct on the screen. When I received my order the guy who handed it over starts to read it from the receipt and I agreed that it was my order.. turns out more than half of it was missing. No big deal. You would think that they checked the bags before sending them off with paying customers. I pushed the red button and let them know my grievance. He apologized and I semi take a peak at my bag to make sure the items are there. I drive home and see that my order is wrong.. there's cheese all over my Coney when I asked for a plain one. Well, the food is just by far the greasiest burger, thrown between two buns, that when it was served to me looked as if the buns had been smashed or is this just common procedure? The tots were the side which as always were good and served hot. Again the presentation of my burger was thrown together then served as if it wouldn't matter. The kids meals no complaints from the kids, tater tots were hot, fries greasy, dry taste as if been sitting in freezer for a while. This has been a delightful place growing up in this town, but man the burgers are just one big greasy patty, with cheese thrown on and bun smashed on it. Tip the servers! My husband purchased two medium blasts and this is what we got…we understand if they don’t go totally to the rim of the cup but, seriously? This is embarrassing. He also asked for marinara sauce with the mozzarella sticks, saw it pop up on the menu screen to verify, and even the carhop said there was marinara sauce in the bag when he handed it to him. Well, you can see the rating of this review, so you know there was no sauce in the bag. Mozzarella sticks were all split open as if they were in the air fryer too long.
