First of all I'm not posting five stars for the massage I received last night, but for the one I received on Saturday from Mimi Lily. It was probably one of the most incredible deep tissue massages I've ever received. Very professional very clean location. When I was done I asked her how I could know if she was there since they have another location. She gave me a card with her name and told me to call and schedule an appointment for her. Last night I called at 5:00 and schedule an appointment for 7:00 with Mimi. Because of the language barrier it took a little while to get the conversation done that's understandable. As I was getting in my car I received a text from an unknown number asking if I could move it to 7:45 when I asked who this was the response was Mimi. I got there a little early and when I realized Mimi was not there I was told she was on her way I went in the room got ready and laid down the table face down. A few minutes later the masseuse walked in and acted like she was Mimi when I went to turn my head she placed her hand on the back of my head keeping it down rubbing my neck. Within minutes it was very obvious this is not the same massage. It was still a very good massage very professional and never inappropriate. While the massage therapist was friendly and accommodating, I left this place concerned about how they operate. One, the place smells like smoke as soon as you walk in. It's presumably from the cigar bar and shared vent duct. While that isn't their fault per se, it is something to keep in mind as a customer seeking a therapeutic experience. The other concern was the tip issue. I am an avid tipper and planned to leave a tip before going. The problem was being asked over and over, via signs and verbally. Once I left the tip via zelle, the massage therapist ran after me to confirm it. I showed her my confirmation and they then texted me saying that I didn't leave a tip. I explained to them zelle sometimes takes 3 days especially on a weekend. This made me feel as if the therapists are not receiving a real wage and are only earning based on tips.
