Before arriving to pick up my order, I called and spoke with Denise to verify that my order would be ready. Since I live less than a minute away from the business, I was expecting to just walk in and out with no problems. After walking in I was greeted then quickly asked was I DoorDash multiple times after saying no (Why did everyone assume I was DoorDash?). I let the gentleman know the name on my order which was MY name, and as he looked for about two minutes he let me know that someone had already picked up my order. I knew that couldn’t be right because I had called 10 minutes prior to ensure that my order was ready. After saying and spelling my name about 10 times no one in the room said anything after he INSISTED my order was picked up (He had the wrong name). I quickly peeked my head around the corner, and saw a bouquet that looked similar to the one I had ordered. When I peeked my head around I was yelled at by the gentleman and told that all DoorDash orders would be in the front of the room, after I explained that I was NOT DOORDASH about five times. When the lady finally confirmed that the flowers I peeked at were MINE and apologized, the man had an attitude as I was gathering my flowers due to his ignorance and error. Will not be doing business here ever again. Beautiful flowers though.
Make sure you wear a 3 piece suit so you’re not profiled as DoorDash. If you’re wondering what I look...
Read moreMs. Kathy is a life/Anniversary saver. My wife and I celebrated our 15th year anniversary May 4. I decided to purchase a flower and chocolate package from edible arrangements located on Sugarloaf Parkway. The flowers I chose based on the advertisement was nothing in comparison to what was delivered to my wife. Matter of fact the flowers from edible arrangements looked fairly similar to something I could’ve purchased from Walmart or Kroger‘s. After contacting management from edible arrangements, I was informed she has no control over the flowers that my wife receive because that is what was sent from corporate. I was highly disappointed and request a refund for the flowers that was delivered and will not purchase from edible arrangement in the future. Luckily I was able to stumble across Legacy Floral and Gifts located on Highway 29 in Lawrenceville and met Ms. Kathy who was highly attentive and professional. My wife was pleased with the presentation and the smell of the flowers. If you are looking for quality service from a local florist, look no further. Legacy Floral...
Read moreSince our Mother passed away, I give my sisters a white rose corsage every Mothers' Day for church. Last year I used Bokay by Joanne and they were very nice. I like to support local business, especially when they are obviously struggling as this one is. This year I ordered the corsages and when I picked them up, the clerk said "Oh, these are boutonnieres as she showed me the single bud and ribbon concoction. We both looked at the hand written order and it did say corsages. She left and when she came back she said, "No, these are corsages because you did not say wrist corsage. (In fact I had specified wrist but that is beside the point). I looked at the order form in her hand and it had been hastily amended to read "single bud" below the "corsage"line. The clerk's only response was "Well I am not the designer, and that's what she says". I will be more careful in the future when I approach a garbage-strewn derelict mall, enter a smelly junk shop, and encounter "designers"and clerks in tee shirt and short shorts. Another third world shopping...
