I ordered a plaque two weeks ago. I was told I could get a sneak peak of the progress on 5 Nov and pick up 12 Nov. I was not able to check on it and called on the 8th. They said they had not started it yet because they just got a new designer. But they would have something on the 9th. Well I couldn't check on it because class went past 1700.

Today on 12 Nov. I go in at 1130 and they didn't have ANYTHING made. They said the order says before 1600 can you come back. I said yes. They call me and said they never recieved a class photo. I sent one by email. Then they call me and asked if they were suppose to put the picture on the shovel (E-tool). I said that I didn't put in an order for a shovel. I put an order in for a missle. They said ok. Thank you.

At 1550 they called me again. They said they think they found the picture of the missle but are unsure. I said I have A picture that I can send them as a reference. (I figured this would be referenced for them to find a better pic or something). They said they would have to push the time to 1700.

I went in at 1655 and they were working on the piece. They were cutting it out and printing off the sticker. They walked out. Shower me the picture and it looked fine. After they cut the missle out. They brought it out. Then they brought out both. The picture was far bigger then the width of the missle by an inch on the top and btm. They asked center I said sure. They brought out the final piece. The sticker is photocopied and barley clarified. It is suppose to have a 3D effect and I don't see how it is. I will attach a photo. I recently had 2 powder coated yeti's engraved. I paid $95 as I had to pay a graphic fee. I had planned to buy smaller yeti's to send to customers. One Yeti (it was in black) turned out great, you could read the writing. Mine, in red, you can barely read it. They offered me half off the next one (which it should have been free, I had to buy another yeti!) but I gave them a chance. I also ordered business cards, which they used the same graphics (so there shouldn't have been a graphic fee!) and when I got the proof and it looked like a child had made it, I wanted to cancel. So I was told by the owner that I would be changed a $25 graphic fee. AGAIN, I already paid the fee when I had the yeti done. This is the worst case of customer service I have EVER experienced in my life and I will NEVER use them again. I suggest finding someone else for your printing and engraving needs. If I could give them a 0 I would.

ETA: I called my bank to dispute the charges as I am not happy with their work. I, in turn called them, to do the right thing so that they didn't print the cards. The owner (I think his name is Scott) said I was the type of customer you could never please (actually I loved the yeti they did for my friend, but mine was barely readable!) and that I was to never step foot in their place again. I love how customer service goes over so well. If you want a professional business card, I'd suggest vista print. If you want a yeti engraved there is a man in Elgin right next to ACE that does them. I've never been treated so terribly by a business...

I like to support small businesses in town so one day I went on line and learned of Frog's printing!! When I got there the owner Scott treated my almost like family and very carefully me with what I needed! They also do trophies, t-shirts, plaques and many specialty items! I've always been thrilled with the products theyvth done for me and today I went there to get a "please ring doorbell" sign. I asked him some questions about what was the best wording and wanted a quality looking little sign!! I went with his opinion and they're going to have it ready tomorrow!! Very reasonably priced as well I ordered a Christmas present!! Please try this shop rather than the other large ones in town! Thanks Scott and his sta onff including his wife Linda!!!! BTW the Christmas present I bought was a handmade Cross by local vendor!! It's gorgeous!! Don't forget to look around the whole store for items that you'd never think...
