Burgess Grill — Restaurant in Lawton

I work across the street so its either eat here or go to the mall. So I try to switch it up from time to time. The first time I went to this place they messed up my order because one of the waitress went on break and failed to inform the other waitress that I had two orders. So when I go back to my job I realized that I was missing something and when I called they asked If there was anyway that I could come back and get it. When I got there I had to pay for them making a mistake they failed to apologize. I like to give everyone a second chance so I went back on a different day and the waitress that served me that day was a lot better then the on who was there the first time. The waitress that served me the first time was there and she was very nasty. She stopped making my milkshake in order to go see if someone had left her a tip. I guess she didn't realize or maybe she just didn't care that other could hear her when she said " I guess I'm working for free today." I am all for tipping your waitress when they deserve it and she most certain received the tip she deserved!! Over all besides that one day apple in the bunch its a good...

I felt rushed coming into the door. Like I needed to immediately place my breakfast order before I couldn't any more. Then finally when I said I'm ordering from the lunch menu I wasn't hovered over any longer. When I placed my order I got a coffee and a patty melt and who I came with got a water and burger. There were NO straws so she had to drink from her cup. These food items on the menu don't come with fries, but with chips if you want fries it's nearly a $2 upcharge. The burger was flat and skinny, but priced so high. I thought I'd be getting some juicy thick beef and when my patty melt came out I just wanted to cry. I didnt care to bother anyone or be bothered anymore at this pont. My bread was so dry and hard I couldve crushed it into dust and again the meat so thin and little for the price. I never ate my food after inspecting it and the waitress tried to give me a to go box. I declined, and I was still forced to pay for the crunchy crusty crab(patty melt) that I didn't eat. The Burger was way to thin. Not the same burger that I'm use to getting there. I had the Hodgepodge burger. I've always bragged about their Burgers but what I got today resembles a Wopper Jr. I could have saved money by going to Burger King. In the past there has been an Asian Lady (maybe the owner) who has did the Burgers. She put out a Burger that Burgess Grill can be proud of and live up to its reputation of one of the best if not the best places to get a Burger in Lawon an surrounding areas. I hope this review will be takin seriously so I can continue going there for my Hamburger needs. Let me be clear about one thing. I think Burgess Grill is one of the best places to eat.
