Antique Treasures — Local services in Leadington

Staff definitely ruins this place. We are visiting the area from out of town and often visit antique stores and flea markets when we’re traveling. I had read the reviews so knew I was going to have to put my purse in a locker. I took two steps into the store and started to look for the lockers, and someone comes out of the office and snaps at me about bags not being allowed and snapped off something about lockers. I had to ask where said lockers were at… they are behind you as you walk in the door. Just to be clear the attitude was not in response to anything on my part, we had literally taken two steps into the store. From the perspective of someone not from the area if the store has to take such draconian measures to prevent theft, it’s probably not wise to leave my purse in the car, so I don’t understand the attitude for simply bringing my purse in the store especially when they say they have lockers. It’s a big place and there were a couple of nice booths but it’s a lot of clothes books and movies. Definitely wasn’t worth dealing...

The staff is very friendly and the store is well kept, lots of things to find from vintage decor, and gently used furniture, some DVDs and toys here and there but not alot. What brought me there was some retro games that I been on a hunt for some time but I got extremely lucky because as mentioned before there's not alot of media items to pick from so it was more credit and appreciation from the Seller Trevor, booth #508 was a great person and even went out of his way to give me exact info and answered my questions, I highly recommend checking out his booth, there are plenty of wonderful things for sale. Always a calm, beautiful place. The lockers for your purse or bag are safe! The cashiers watch the lockers and use keyed locks. Your stuff will be safe while you're looking at all the amazing things.
