I have known Steve for over 30 years. When I was a young beginner he was a buyer of mine with the best taste and a great eye for quality. Now as I find myself in my mid 40’s roles have switched and I visit his stores often. No matter the location, you will find quality and value. If you are a collector, a decorator or a dealer you will find what you are looking for. The newest location at Reavis Barracks and Lemay Ferry is enormous and full of great stuff. I am a collector but also a picker for others and this is a place a go to once a week because each time I go I have found something rare I collect or something I can make a profit on. We have shopped here for several years (first at soco mall and now at the new place) and have always had a fantastic experience. The workers and owners are sincerely some of the kindest and most pleasant people I have had the privilege of meeting. My wife, myself and our two kids went to the south county location earlier this morning and purchased several 45 rpm records. While we were shopping, one of the owners noticed my daughter looking at a piece of jewelry. He quickly asked her to bring it to the front desk and told her she could have it for free! He also offered my 3 year old son a free toy car of his choice. This small act of kindness made our day and bought them customers for life. I'm not happy with the lady that rang me up today for my sale. I had a pair of earrings that were little small turquoise colored earrings that were silver metal and they were $2.50 on sale because they were originally $5. She never put them in the bag and if she said she wanted to buy them so I think she kept them and didn't sell them to me. I don't know if she charged me for them because I didn't see them in the bag. I'm coming back there tomorrow to the South county mall, St. Louis estate store. You know which earrings I'm talking about!!! I will talk to her when I get there...
