If I could give Evan Patterson, his office staff and State Farm a negative five stars, I would do so in a heartbeat! We have been loyal State Farm customers for 30 years with an agent whom we respected and worked for his customers best interest. Sadly, Norm Raeber passed away a few years ago and it was at that time our business was passed to Evan Patterson. Evan did NOTHING to help our family or to maintain our business. My husband and I moved to another home after 30 years and we found one morning that our roof was leaking. I called a few roofers, all reported we needed a new roof. I called Evan, we filed a claim, they said we needed no roof, and paid out little for repairs. Six months later, we had another leak, I called another roofing company, they sighted wind, rain hail damage and said we needed a new roof. State Farm came out, declined the roof replacement, paid ZERO $$, and then filed it as a claim which counted against us. Though NO money was paid out to us. A good agent would have advised us on this, but not Evan Patterson! I was NOT happy! My husband and I did a total roof replacement to the tune of 30 grand out of our pocket! Evan did NOTHING to help. Our rates for our auto kept going up, no tickets, no accidents, my husband and I are in our 60’s so I called Evan and requested he revisit our rates and see how he could lower our auto insurance. He responded he could do NOTHING! So, I pulled our 4 auto, 2 jet ski, and one boat policy and gave them to Charles Meyer Insurance Agency that saved us over a thousand dollars on our vehicles. I guess State Farm was not happy, they decided to drop one of our home insurance policies, probably because they knew we would soon be removing both of our homes with them! I should Thank you Evan for not returning ONE phone call in over three weeks. I made seven calls at which time I was continually told he was at meetings, lunch, home anywhere but available to his clients! State Farm is not there for you..... they are there only long enough to take your premium checks! They are NOT a good neighbor, they would be a neighbor to fear! Evan Patterson is NOT an agent, he simply collects the clients from good agents that actually did their job when they die! He did not answer text, or calls and has his office staff lie for him. The best one was when his staff member, that screened his calls, tried to tell me that he stood there while Evan called me back and there must have been a phone issue. He was sure if I rebooted my phone, I would see his return call. NOT! I know how to work my iPhone! You need to come up with a believable story next time! In all my 60 years I have never left a negative review for anyone, anywhere, but State Farm, Evan Patterson, Josh and the rest of the office staff deserve every word of this! DO NOT use State Farm or God forbid, Evan Patterson! Two thumbs down! What a...
Read moreWas very disappointed with several things.
I wouldn't recommend using this office to anyone, I found better home/auto insurance for a third of the price with another reputable company. Whats sad is, I was a loyal customer for years, and have other family who also were long time customers. Who are now with another company because of...
Read moreI had started off with a very rewarding experience with my agent Carla Isbell as she reduced my rates tremendously from my previous ins. company. But then I seemed to get pushed around to other agents. For whatever reason I dealt with two other subsequent agents who did not handle my policy as well as Carla Isbell. Because of a couple of mix ups on dates and payment options my policy was temporarily canceled without notice or allowing me a chance to explain. Thought that was a bit unprofessional and upsetting to me. My policy was reinstated but the whole thing I felt was handled inappropriately. Not sure why Carla Isbell wasn't allowed to continue customer service with my policy? Anyway that's all water under the bridge. I will continue my policy but will most likely transfer to another office. Disappointed as a whole how it all went down in...
