I have been shopping at the Lenexa, KS location for years. In the last few months I have purchased several thousand dollars with a wonderful young lady named Justice, the store manager. Apparently she is no longer with the company, and things have fallen apart. The new store manager neglected to place an order that I had payed for a month ago, and told me I would just have to wait an extra two weeks. The day to receive that item has come and gone, and I’ve not so much as received a phone call. He told me they had another item in stock, that I let him know I was on my way to pick up. I got there and the salesman told me they had sold out earlier in the day. He hadn’t even bothered to check before I made the trip. Employees NEVER asked if my dad, my mom or myself if we needed help. They didn’t even come out from behind the counter even though there weren’t any customers at the counter. My dad was looking to spend approximately $10,000 on equipment for his wood shop. When we did check out, spending $100, the employee asked if we had shopped there before. I said no & that we wouldn’t be in the future. He asked why. I explained we had been in the store approximately 30 minutes and him not the other employee asked if they could help us. He then asked if we needed help. Obviously not the time to ask. Hopefully the customer is not always this terrible, we won’t ever know because we won’t be returning to find out. I am really struggling to give 3 stars.... My father and I usually come to this store a couple times a year. I feel like over the last couple years their customer service has been declining. We are not rich, we don't do woodworking for a living, we may not have the latest or the greatest equipment in the world but we do expect to be treated as well as anyone else there. Seems like they are looking at dollar signs these days. The last several times we have been there it feels like there is a great deal of arrogance with the staff. I do think they are pretty knowledgeable as to the products they carry and that seems about it, but it's hard to tell since they really don't wanna get to know their customer and their needs.
