Subway — Restaurant in Overland Park

If I could give 0 stars I would. We arrived to the restaurant around 9:18pm on a Friday evening. The door says closes at 10:00pm.

We walk up to the counter and the young male working behind the counter disgruntled asks “you have a call head?” We can sense he is not happy that we are there.

We inform his “no, we want to place and order to go.”

He replies, “Man, I am trying to close this place at 9:30..”

We look puzzled since we know the door just said closes at 10:00pm.

I look around to see if there is a sign that indicates closing early. Nothing. The only thing I do notice is a completed empty sandwich pre area.

We inquired about the meatball sub, and he informed us that he only has “one meatball” and looks at us puzzled. We return the puzzled look.

We advise him, “maybe we will come back some other time..”

He doesn’t even blink and continues back to packing up.

Were we just refused service? I am not happy with how we were treated and would love to speak with the manger of...

The manager Tim was very rude and difficult to work with. I tried to be calm and collected as I know everyone has bad days. I went in because i ordered extra olives and pickles on my sandwich and came in to ask for like a cup of more of them because I only got like 10 on the whole sandwich (less than normal amount). He insisted he made it and put extra and i said thats fine i didnt even want the sandwich remade and could even bring in the sandwich to show him. He then continued to make more remarks about which i just ignored. I didnt want to even leave a bad review but after going back in because i ate a bite and the olives were horrible (not their fault) I asked to speak to another worker so there weren’t any issue, all I wanted was to quickly get a refund and go. Instead tim jumped in and kept cutting me off and raising his voice over me about it and bragged about taking about it with other costumers. Im very upset with my experience here and I hope it never happens to...

I can’t speak to dining in but DO NOT do mobile order. I have mobile ordered 3 times from this location because it is close to where I work but won’t be doing it again. Every time I have ordered it has been wrong. There is always something missing. This last time we ordered a salad, sandwich, 3 cookies, 2 chips, and a drink. Drink was missing, nothing was on the salad it was plain lettuce, no dressing was sent with, no chips, no cookies....I have talked to the manager before and he was nice offered me free sandwich. I said I didn’t want free food I just want my correct order and to have his employees pay closer attention...nothing was changed. I understand if they were busy but there were only 2 customers.
