Post 409 Legion is a great place to visit and bring the family, it's a very family-oriented atmosphere. It's open to public but must be a member to take part in some of the extras. Incredible crowd with many local regulars who invite all to visit the post. The bartenders are a very friendly group who can make some great drinks! Trude had her Harlan High School Alumni Banquet at the Jack Brinker American Legion Post 409 in Leo Indiana. It was in a newly remodeled banquet room in the basement. There were 60+ attendees. This Post was welcoming and began to feel like home soon after moving to the area. It is non-smoking. There is a kid's play area indoors. The people are friendly and offer a small town community connection. The pizza is amazing, but all the food has been good. They are really trying to be a resource for Veterans and the community.
