Posting here in case someone finds an expired seat at the lewiston store in case they sold any there as well. These guys sold me a car seat that was expired for hundreds of dollars which I'm pretty sure it's illegal and highly unsafe. Luckily mine was noticed before I ever used it but it was in original packaging so why would I think it would be expired. I have left comments on their page which they apparently blocked me from and a voicemail requesting they check their remaining stock as there were 2 on the floor when I bought mine 3 weeks ago. Shady place and hopefully no one gets hurt because of their pride and wanting to make a buck even with this knowledge. If you paid 200 dollars here recently for a Chico or Britax seat and or got them after they marked them down make a check them and make a stink because they know what is going on and...

This place has been around for a while. Not sure what happened to their older reviews. They did a big remodel this summer, so maybe that's it.

This is a discount store that sells a lot of food and some other handy things (sweaters, boots, etc). Their groceries are salvaged (surplus / damaged / expired), so you have sort through. But I often find great stuff at steal. Just keep an eye on expiration dates. And know that some prices are more of a bargain than others - 4 stars out of 5 because there's always some stuff that's the same price as Hannaford even tho it's expired.

And yes, the name is confusing. This place sometimes has holiday-related items but it's mostly groceries. Like Caswell's...

These guys sold me moldy food. There's a difference between selvage and dumpster diveing. After I ate something. I looked back at the date and it was expired September 2023. That is over 3 months. And they refuse to reimburse me for what they sold me. They can really make people sick. It should be against the law to sell expired food. Whether it's selvaged or not, it should be against the law.
