Alfred is a true gentleman. I came to Alfred for a second price quote, as Days Jewelers had charged us $73 to tighten just the center stone of my engagement ring. Days then told me that both of my rings had loose stones that were in such great risk of falling out, that I shouldn’t really be wearing them. They told me that to tighten the loose prongs on my wedding band alone, it would cost $660!! (my husband originally purchased the band from Days) I am SO glad I brought my rings to Alfred for a second opinion!! after inspection under his microscope, he found ALL of the stones to be secure and said I was just fine to continue wearing the rings. He said if the prongs ever did need tightening, that it would cost me FAR less than what I was quoted.
