I use to love shopping here. But you couldn't pay to shop there now.

I have never been more disappointed then when I went to replace my wedding dress that had been lost. Every dress there mines well be thrown out. The bottoms where black, had mud on them and frayed from how often they had been stepped on. It looked like some one took tea and splashed them, top to bottom. Yet you thought you were going to get that high a price for them. Keeping in mind how expensive it would be just to have them cleaned, not to mention the price of having them taken in or out if needed or hemmed. By the time a bride would be done paying for all that she mines well have gone to a high end bride store.

The store is gross, seously what happened to your store? Do your people not clean at all any more? Like at all?

You should replace the images for your stores photos with what it look like now and see how many people really want to there after. Apparently you don't get why Chapter 11 has been going under.

My mother who also, enjoyed going to your store when she would come visit. Would sepend hours shopping and looking around, actually asked after less than 10min if we could leave.

Her exact words were, "Can we please go. I just took a shower and I feel like I need another. It is disgusting in here. When you said they had gone down hill I didn't think it was this bad."

Let me put it to you this way, if you all still don't get it. Customers should not come out with brown/gray hands when they are pale skinned or an other color other than what they were born with unless you have...

If I could leave a negative star review….I would . I have been a loyal customer and have had Mardens install carpet in the past. This experience was by far the WORST experience I have ever had with any company! They took my money, made me wait over a month, then on the day of installation , made us wait all day, when we took time off from work. Then claimed they had the wrong pad. No one called me back. When the installer text me, he was rude and told me Mardens would have to fix the problem. Then they said we would have to wait another several days….meanwhile our house was in shambles. We had moved everything out of our living room and bedroom. We could not access our dining table or stove. Then….later on the day they were supposed to install our carpet…they said they sold us the wrong carpet and refused to install the plush carpet we had chosen, on our radiant flooring. They claimed we would have to install Berber carpet in radiant flooring….which is WRONG!!! They have NO idea what they are doing! In the end… I had to ASK for an apology. There was no sympathy toward the fact that we are now faced with living without flooring. No help from them at all. This has honestly been the WORST experience I have ever had with any company! This is not the place to go in your Sunday best. Its a bit dirty and the goods are laid out more like a garage sale than a department store. But sometimes you find something great at a great price and that's the point of shopping at a place like Marden's. My fiancé and I bought the most wonderful, unique couch in beautiful condition that came with more pillows than you could ever possibly need for a very good price. We went specifically for a couch and visited several times because what they have changes often. Some couches and furniture were obviously damaged but others were beautiful. We spent quite a bit of time looking over the couch we bought before we bought it to be sure it was in good condition. It was very clean and in brand new condition. We love our couch and our kids love the mountain of pillows so we're very happy. I would buy furniture or merchandise in general from them again. My only advice is know what you're buying and be sure you're happy with the condition before you buy. If you need furniture (or anything else) immediately this might not be the place but if you have time to wait and visit several times, you may find exactly what you want for...
