Indopak Supermarket, Lewisville — Local services in Lewisville

I visited this Indo-Pak Supermarket one week ago because both Spice N Rice in Carrollton and India Bazaar on Hebron/121 chose not to open on time at 10am Friday morning. This was my next option, and am glad they were open per stated business hours. I am fascinated they sell Malabar parathas and lots of varieties of rice. I noticed this location carries excellent items not available in other stores. I went back a week later, and purchased more items, and prices are relatively more sensible here than at other places. This is a good place for a quick stop for a wide variety of vegetables, snacks, spices, milk, yoghurt, juice, and what not. The lady at the desk and the guy inside the shop are helpful and knowledgeable. My only suggestion is that they remove all the pickle bottles at the back and only display items that are selleable. I didn't feel comfortable buying pickle here seeing the bad condition most items inside the bottles looked. They need to throw this entire stack of pickles away and replace it with fresher product. This is our one of the nearby Indian store where we been there couple of times for groceries. Yesterday, we wanted to order two chicken biryani, the employee she looks like a child, first received the phone and said call me after 10 min. after that we called again and placed an order through the phone then said we will be there about 20 min, she said okay. We went there after 20 min and she said we have to wait another 15 min to get our biryani ready. We did not have time to wait for an extra 15 min so we returned back without getting biryani. What kind of service is this? If they cannot take order through the phone then they should let us know about that. We are so disappointed because we wasted our time and gas. I think she don’t have an experience of good customer service. I would not recommend to anyone to this place. We are very lucky to have IndoPak, a halal food store, in Lewisville. To shop from IndoPak store has became our daily routine. Our family and our extended family do shopping from IndoPak Lewisville. I know people who lives far, but still they come for groceries in Lewisville from different cities because IndoPak provide very good customer service, produce products and catering. My favorite from IndoPak are Samochas, Tehari and Tea. Their butcher department is also very very good. They will cut the meat as you will like. The employees of this store are very nice and kind. They will always ready to help you. And the Manager of this location and his family are very kind people. They all became our family.
