Star Donuts — Restaurant in Lewisville

I'm sad that I've lived in the area for 3 years and only recently found this donut shop. Their donuts are so fresh and tasty! I typically get several original glazed and a jalapeno kolache. Today I didnt get there until later in the morning and they were out of the original glazed so I opted for the twist glazed. Adding these to my go-to order!

The couple that runs the donut shop are so nice, warm, and friendly. They always have big smiles when customers come in. They are the reason I love supporting this local business so much!

They surprised me today with some glazed donut holes - so sweet of them, especially since they were out of what I wanted to get!

*note - this is the first time they've ever been out of something when I've gone. I'm guessing someone bought a ton earlier that morning. so no need to worry about them being out of something you want... and if they are, they have lots of different yummy options to...

The donuts are great in my opinion! The only and most important issue I have is sanitary. I went there 2 days consecutively (twice in 1 day) and each time I went the guy on the register grabbed a used glove by the register and picked up the food item. Then he takes off the glove to run the cash register and places the used glove back on the side of the register. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so I went again and the same thing happened… Never washed their hands so after seeing this and surviving through it. I...

A great morning donut place. I got there late morning, so less selection of donuts, but they were still making a lot of Kolaches. At that tune in the morning, less selection is what expect from a really good donut place as it means really fresh donuts and they are but trying to sell any stale stuff.
