This was the first visit to the Louisville location. Walked in and wasn't really sure, asked for directions to the area looking/shopping for first. Once in the area a Sales Guy approached Extremely friendly, put a tape measure in my hand (i guess to claim his customer) saying he wouldn't hover over us and would allow us time to look in Peace. Then I guess he got tired of waiting around, then he came back over, seemed helpful but at the same time kind of anxious and ready to make a decision and checkout. Mind you, he was very nice and helpful upon greeting but mellowed out during the selection process (he was getting antsy) I wasn't going to rush this process. Noticed his energy was changing as if he was ready for us to hurry and decide on what we wanted faster and go pay. Still wanted to shop the store for other projects and he kept showing up with this energy of hurry up (or you guys are holding me up from getting my next customer) this was very Annoying. Didn't get to shop the entire store because this guy wanted to make his freaking sale. The next time I will be standoffish and tell the salesperson who approaches me that I'm not interested or just looking. Came out there to solve 2-3 projects not just one, didn't need anyone in the way, necessarily. Oh and once checked out (paid), there were no more Smiles he had gotten what he wanted (THE SALE) and that was that. He forgot to give the receipt until asked. Soooo Annoyed, still have to go somewhere else and shop when could have easily made all decisions/ purchases there. My Philosophy Now is- I'll come get you when I need you, don't hang around me, need space, I'll come get you when I'm ready or if I have more questions. Once checked out he pointed us around to the side of the building where we where to pull in and pick up our items. They were getting ready to load one of the items without wrapping it up until mentioned. Also came with the 2nd wrong item to load and once we looked at it they had to go back and re-pull the right one. I'll go over pros & cons from my experience Purchased luxury vinyl flooring in Aug 2021 and had it installed that month both upstairs & downstairs in my home. Downstairs planks began to buckle 6 months later first in the kitchen, living room then kept getting worse. The sales person told me that the floors have a 15 year warranty (great) when I called to rectify the problem I was told it was a 1 year warranty. Since it was still within the 1 year time frame I figured no big deal they sent an inspector out to check the flooring and they concluded that the professional installers I used installed poorly by making the baseboards go close to the floor. It took 2 months to get an inspector. Afterwards that meant I needed new flooring to have the 1st floor reinstalled after many calls and emails no one told me they didn't have the floor in stock anymore and it was discontinued until I went up there. I will give kudos to the manager and team for working to help in this situation by reaching out to the vendor + offering contrasting flooring at a discounted rate. Unfortunately even when I found flooring that kinda matched the quality was so poor. For every box with 13 planks about 4 were chipped causing it not to snap. Not to mention it was so flimsy that two different install companies said the flooring was horrible and I'd be in the same predicament of buckled flooring in no time. Read moreI bougth some laminate but they didnt have enough at the store. They had to bring it from the Rishardson store and they said it would be ready for pick up 2-3 days later and that they would call.. four days later i called and they still didnt have it. I ask them if i could go and pick it up at the other store.. its far away but i needed it by the weekend.. after waiting about 15 min in the phone for the guy to ask he finally told me he would call me back and let me know. Well i waited for the call ready to drive more than an hour and never called back. Today is Tuesday.. 6 days after i was supposed to pick up my floor and after a call I MADE.. because they havent call me back.. they still dont know where my floor is.. i asked they guy if for sure it was going to be there today because i need the floor. My husband took time off from work.. all the guy said was I DONT KNOW.. I CANT PROMESS ANYTHING BECAUSE THIS IS JUST WHAT THE COMPUTER TELLS ME. Do why they sell something that they dont have in store.. becaue they did charge the same day. They could just tell me ita better to go to the other store which is just 30 min away from them and more than a week later they havent been able to bring the laminate to the store. I was willing to go all the way there but they dont know if i can.
