Babai Mart on 183 in Leander is hands-down one of the best spots for real South Indian flavor! Every dish tastes homemade, rich, and full of authentic spices that bring back memories of India.

I tried their Punugulu, and they were absolutely perfect — crispy, golden, and served with delicious chutneys. The Rumali Roti with Kaju Paneer was soft, creamy, and full of flavor, while the Natu Kodi Curry had that amazing village-style spice that’s rare to find in the U.S.

Their Boneless Chicken Pulav and Fry Piece Pulav were outstanding — perfectly cooked rice, tender chicken, and just the right balance of masala. Each bite was bursting with flavor! To top it off, the Irani Chai was smooth, aromatic, and the perfect way to end the meal.
