Dollar General — Local services in Lilburn

Never in my life have I ever had to call the corporate office for any store, restaurant, etc. The manager on today’s visit should not have that position. If there is no one at the cash register for a minute or longer do I not have a right to say hello to see if there is anyone available?

As soon as she came to the cash register she aggressively and rudely told me, NOT ASKED me if i did not hear her say she’ll be right up. I told her ring me up then bc I’m not taking your attitude today and we went back and forth.... IN FRONT OF MY DAUGHTER and a customer behind me who was waiting for service as well.

I shop at another DG location bc the other location rarely has expired food on the shelves and they actually greet and help the customers. I can’t say the Same about this location.

I stand by everything I said to this rude, disrespectful woman and I hope she takes a training course on talking to customers, no matter what age. I’m bringing up age bc she was more than likely in her 50’s or 60’s with an attitude of a rebellious teenager kid you not. If I have to respect my coworkers and most importantly my clients, SO DOES SHE! I will still shop at DG, they have great deals but not this location. Worst costumer service I ever received in my life. And I hope the district manager keeps his word and handle this manager accordingly. We spend lots of money with this company, regularly shop here to avoid the bigger stores... Today, I tried to make a return and the extremely rude woman stated when I walked up that I couldn’t make returns... the company policy has a whole section on returns, I had my receipt and the product was in original package and in perfect condition! This store is awesome it's a very big very organized and very clean each time I go in there it never fails to have a great selection of stocked up merchandise I'm glad that they keep their clearance area up-to-date as well and help out during the clearance events they bring up the items up in front tables instead of you having to walk all the way back to the clearance aisle.
