When I initially met with Hector he was very professional! We were excited about having our flooring redone and we have been saving for a long time.

However, his team did not show up, and he did not even contact me. We had to secure a rental, because we have five kids and two dogs. So we paid for a rental day that was totally unnecessary, and I had to pay for an additional day that I was never compensated for.

Not only that, but there are scratches all over my floor. I am 100% convinced that because they had to rush the job, they did not do the topcoats as promised. I know this because I have renovated more than one house, and I have been responsible for the hardwood flooring at my work as well. I find it hard to believe that in a 500 person event space, I have more scratches on my floor than we do at work!

Very disappointed. I tried to reach out to them and they did not contact me back, because I wanted to figure out how to fill the scratches. I will not be using them for my carpet installation and have chosen...

Hector's Magic Carpet did an excellent job for me on three separate jobs- I couldn't be happier. The first was my upstairs carpet that needed stretching. He had my carpet looking like new in no time at all, at a very fair and reasonable price. They did such a good job, I hired them to put hardwood floors to replace carpeting in my downstairs dining room for my old house, which I needed to put up for sale. Hector personally walked me through the process of choosing which hardwood would best match our existing downstairs hardwood in other areas of the house, then his team came out and did an absolutely beautiful job. Finally, I wanted to install laminate flooring in my new house, which they did on very short notice, at a great price with great workmanship. I called Hector a couple of weeks ago and within a few days he had his associate to come measure our bedrooms, closets and stairs for carpet replacement. She had samples with her so I was able to pick out what I wanted. Hector gave me a quote the very next day. A few weeks later we set up a day and time for them to come to the house. Four guys showed up and within 3 hours they had torn up the old carpet in the 3 bedrooms , 5 closets and the stairs. They even cleaned up after themselves.
