-owner is unprofessional/business practices are sketchy -sells faulty products but offers warranty to “fix” the issue because he knows his products are faulty -unwilling to work with you -do yourself a favor and go elsewhere unless you want to deal with a headache

I purchased a fridge a few weeks ago. Owner was moving between stores at the time. When purchased refund policies/warranties were not discussed until after product was delivered and paid for. I texted owner with concerns about his “refund/warranty” policy and asking why the plug was plugged into the back of the fridge compromising the insulation. NEVER received a text back to discuss the concerns.

The fridge has been leaking for weeks. I had called a few times without an answer to address the concern. Today finally got through to discuss a return because the leaking ruined my $14k flooring. Owner stated “because of your trust issues you’re not allowing me to fix the problem.” Assuming previous concerns and communication was addressed then my spouse and I would have been more than willing to give him a chance to fix it, but because of the experience with attempting to get this fixed in the previous weeks we are over it and just want our money back.

At this point, owner is refusing to refund and accept the faulty product. We are even willing to bring the faulty fridge to him (no work needed on his end). When discussing options he would constantly interrupt me and ultimately hung up on me at the end of our conversation.

As you can see by his responses to poor reviews he is concerned about being right at the end of day and not about being solution focused.

Long story short he only offers a warranty because he knows he is selling a faulty...

USE EXTREME CAUTION!!!!!!

Purchased a refrigerator in late August of 2022 and the refrigerator is completely broken now. Just 5 months later. This company definitely sold me a bad refrigerator or it was damaged in transit to me. The owner or employee (whatever he is) Germaine is very unprofessional. Tried to sale me another broken refrigerator for $200 and that was not acceptable to me. There is absolutely nothing me or my 5 year old daughter could have done to make a refrigerator completely malfunction. It was broken when it was sold to me. They told me my power could have went out, but that is not what caused the refrigerator issue. The DTE Repair Tech stated the compressor is bad and 9 times out of 10 it is due to the refrigerator being laid down during transit to my home. My power has never surged in the last 5 months. I would know because I work from home.

Overall HORRIBLE experience. I always try and support small businesses, especially when they are black owned. This just left a bad taste in my mouth. I HIGHLY recommend having someone inspect your refrigerator, if you are going to purchase from them.

I was really happy to shop at GB and picked out a washer/dryer to be delivered to my new home. G delivered it and had great difficulty getting the washer in. Set it in place and said all set. I just moved in and had it hooked up and ran a test wash. Not only was water gushing out the bottom the entire outside casing was rusted away and therefore not connected to the guts at all! The safety catch doesn't work and is dangerous to run when you open the lid and the machine doesn't stop! So I called and some guy who sounded drunk or stoned answered the phone and mumbled something even though I kept asking for G and all to no avail. The guy hangs up. Not only do I want my money back I want it removed! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
