I completely agree with the other client that gave LDI a 1 star rating. Our experience was horrible with LDI. We spent money and more money, time and more time expressing our budget, what was or was not of interest to us. It fell upon deaf ears. We were most displeased with LDI. The first and foremost reason we were displeased is the statement we heard multiple times when they made miscalculations on interior designs. When calculations were off, at the fault of LDI, the designer, Lindsey, would laugh it off, "it can be fixed". Yes, it can be fixed at OUR EXPENSE. We spent thousands of dollars tearing down and rebuilding walls because of her miscalculations and errors. Our builder, our finish carpenter and our cabinet maker...amongst a few... couldn't believe the suggestions and poor calculations from LDI. One example is the tall ceilings we have. She suggested we put the clothes bar just under the ceiling (nearly 15 feet). Really, do you expect me to climb a ladder to hang clothes up after removing them from the dryer? We wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, but time after time with this happening, it didn't resolve, so we went elsewhere & were very pleased with how attentive to detail other designers can be.

After visiting with other builders, designers and people building homes, steer away from this company. It is going to cause you more stress than needed during a remodel or new construction.

I am of the conclusion that everyone should own the most comfortable home they can afford. Living in a home...well, that could be any place. Loving your home and feeling like it's your own little resort...that's almost indescribable. I understand that feeling now.
