I gave one star only because I couldn't give zero. My mother was a resident at Waterford she had two cats at home she went to the hospital because she wasn't feeling good and the doctors decided she couldn't go home alone I live in California. She had her two cats at home still and one of the staff was so kind she went to north Platte on her own time and got my mother's cats for her and brought them to her. About two weeks later the staff tells my mom to wait on the auditorium they had some measurements they had to take in her room. She was in the auditorium for a little over an hour and they came got her took her back to her room.she sat down feeling something wasn't right then it hit her her cats and everything to do with them( litter box toys food) all were gone including her two cats. She began to scream and walked out into the hallway screaming and crying and the staff just ignored her. A couple weeks after that her life savings and pretty much anything else she had was gone so the staff decided to send her back to the hospital because they had drained her account and she didn't have the funds to continue paying so much. While at the hospital she was emotionally abused some more and was told she wouldn't be able to continue paying on her life insurance policy and she became very upset. Then she got sick with pneumonia and refused treatment and died due to the pneumonia. I wouldn't bring a family member to this senior living if it was the last one on earth. They only care about money. They dont care for the senior at all. Maybe a few might but obviously the ones taking care of my mother had no compassion or any kind of feelings for her...
Read moreI would just like to say that the Waterford at College View North is excellent in my opinion. As a recent resident here, I have had some troubles adjusting to this lifestyle as I am quite young to require such help. I'm only 54 and while driving my semi tractor trailer, I had a very bad disabling accident. My wife was caring for me but cancer and diabetes took her from me quite unexpectedly. This as well as being undiagnosed bi-polar made my adjustment to senior care living quite difficult for me, however with the kind and caring environment and staff here at the Waterford College View North facility, instead of just passing me off to another facility, took the time and loving care to see me through this difficulty. If your searching for a place where your loved ones will be cared for and cared about, then I would most assuredly recommend The Waterford at...
Read moreThe staff at The Waterford At college view has made my moms life so wonderful. I am so happy that I moved my mom here, the activity director has brought out a new side in my mom that I have never seen. There are activities offered to her skill set that give her sense of independence back, & activities that allow her to relax and enjoy her time such as live music. There are staff that have been there since the beginning of moms stay that have made her feel welcomed and right at home, the move in wouldn’t have been easy without Eddie being there to lighten the mood and guide us through our new journey. The director of health care, Harley has always kept moms best interest in mind when it came to her care. I have no worries with my mom living at the Waterford at College View, she is truly taken care of by the best...
