Do NOT come to this target if you are a minority! As an avid target lover, I was excited to come to this location. Unfortunately, I have never ever experienced the level of disrespect and discrimination as I have experienced tonight. I am a collector of NECA merchandise and I was extremely surprised that this location had so much merchandise available. There was a sign that clearly stated “1 teenage mutant ninja turtle item per customer”. As a law abiding citizen, I grabbed one ninja turtle item. I did, however attempt to purchase 2 Godzillas. Upon checkout, a woman by the name of Janice (Janine/Janet/or something like that) stated I could not purchase more than one Godzilla. I informed this employee the sign stated one ninja turtle per customer. She then proceeded to state that it was for all collectibles. I then politely asked my friend to purchase the second item for me. She then began to shout and yell that we were all together and my friend couldn’t purchase the item for me. She was extremely condescending in her approach. White privilege at its finest . There was no sign. No warning. Nothing that stated this. This employee became extremely hostile and even went as far as asking me to leave the store. I am shocked and honestly highly offended at the fact that target would allow anyone to treat a PAYING CUSTOMER like this. Target, please check your employees. I would be highly disappointed to think that this person is a reflection of the store I love so much, and where I am a frequent customer. Should I just shop at Walmart...
Read moreAmazing staff in a newer, clean, very large-format Target store. Very comfortable environment to shop in, and it's never too busy. Those factors bring the rating to three stars. Can't say enough about the customer service here.
Where this location loses out in its rating is in product selection, which is just very confusing for a store this size. I have never had issues with any other Target location in finding products, and those locations have been in different cities, as well as much smaller in retail space. I do understand filling the shelves based on what sells in the area - but I consistently find myself unable to find basic items - and it's not that they are out of stock; there is simply no place on the shelf, and I find out after arrival they are not listed for sale in the store, based on the Target app. At the same time, you can become overwhelmed by the paper and cleaning supplies section here.
Food selection is incredibly limited here, as well - even compared to the other Target locations, and even considering that the bulk of Target's sales are based on home goods. One of the reasons I shop here is that I find the grocery store options in the area very limiting, and generally trust Target's quality - especially the Market Pantry and Simply Balanced store brands.
The final, main issue I'm seeing lately is that none of the products listed on Cartwheel for discount are available in this store, a consistent issue over the past few months. That has become very frustrating, as the deeper discounts are a major incentive...
Read moreWhile Target is better than Walmart for a majority of reasons, they need to fix their return policies. No exchanges now? This is new…and annoying. For those who buy the wrong size for someone or even theirselves and simply want to switch for the correct size or if someone receives a gift and they need to exchange for the correct size etc. this new policy is ridiculous. I worked at the Lisbon store when it first opened and the policy was like all other major retailers. Even exchange with or without a receipt as long as it scans through the system. For returns, you would need a receipt or a license. But guests shouldn’t have to go through the hassle of a return when they only want to exchange merchandise and then pay more if the item was on sale and Target changed the price. What is the point of having sales then? If the guest has the receipt and they only want to exchange the item for a different size, whether the sale ended or not, the store is meant to take the item back as an even exchange. This new policy is ridiculous. Target is already more expensive and it’s an inconvenience to do a return rather than a simple...
