Panera Bread — Restaurant in Lisbon

I went to this location within the last hour and saw a cook in an orange hat cooking food with snot dripping from his nose. When I brought this to the attention to the manager Will (wears glasses), he told me that he had a doctor's note to be working. I told him I did not care that he had a doctor's note I did not want his bodily fluids dripping into my food. He told me he would make sure this cook did not handle my order. Not even five minutes later, my order was ready. I was not informed by the manager that my order was ok, I had to go up and ask him, which he replied "Yes" in a nonreassuring tone. I later found out that this cook in the orange hat actually SERVED my boyfriend and I our order. Having worked in the food industry myself, I know what a major health issue this is and the fact this manager did nothing to resolve this matter disgusts me almost as much as the cook who was sick. I normally don't write reviews but after experiencing what I did today I wanted others to be aware of the kind of staff, management, and uncleanliness that occurs at the Lisbon Landing Panera Bread. I will never return to this Panera nor another Panera...

Once a long time ago I met a reputable gentleman at a DJ Snake concert who prescribed me salvia to combat my anxiety. I had a little more than what you would call a safe dose and lived as the soda dispenser in this Panera Bread for 7 years. I was trapped in my head for 7 years. I remember everyday, I was the entire machine and people would press on me and soda would come out of my eyes. Every time someone would press down on my and soda would come out it felt as my optic nerves were in a vice being squeezed. I lived as that machine for so long, watching customers of all sorts come in and out, wondering if they are getting soda or not. Praying they got a coffee or one of those charged lemonades (like the one that killed that girl). After the year on the calendar said 2030 I woke up. Back in 2023! I had a small headache but went to Panera bread and got a soda and I think that was an internal fight I won. I defeated my inner demons by drinking from myself. We were visiting Foxwoods for labor day weekend and decided to stop by at Panera near our hotel at this location. My wife went to use the bathroom and came out with a shocked look on her face! She said there was poop all over the toilet and wall behind it... disgusting. After that we ordered you pick two meals. Two soups and sandwiches. One of the sandwiches was okay and the other one (chicken panini ) has mazarella cheese on it (which I did not ask for) and chicken which was uncooked and had purple spots on it. Honestly I am very upset with our visit to this location and it was a waste of time and money. Obviously they have issues with the chicken they serve. Also they have serious issues with their restrooms because poop all over the wall and toilet is just not okay... (also my wife took pictures of all of this) This visit was on September 3rd, 2018 around 4pm. Unbelievable.. I am not sure who managers this place but they need to do their job right! Disgusting...
