Myself & another gentleman waited in line for at least 15 minutes, while the manager & clerk helped a woman with gift cards that weren’t working for her alcohol. We were very patient then I asked, “does the self-checkout give back cash?” The clerk said, no. Then I asked the manager standing there if there’s another register that could open, as now there were 5 more people waiting. While 2 employees helped one person. The rude manager then said, “you could go to Jewel.” I then said, “I chose Aldi, my mistake.” Then I told my son, “let’s go!” I then left all of my things on the belt, so that the snarky manager, could put it all back. Hate to say this, but a store shouldn't offer a service only, too, have their employees act as if you're asking for too much trying to use it! I'd often stop as it was on my way home from work! Specifically, because they offer the cash back option n wouldn't want to go out of my way to my bank as it's a bit out of the way! Well, once they started seeing a pattern, I started to feel as if I was bieng targeted, then one day I came in n saw a sign! Saying no cash! I can't help but feel it was strictly for me! Oh, my love ALDI !!! In the beginning of American life, I saw someone walking with the ALDI bag. I felt it's a fancy shop by the bag's design. ^ ^ It's a warehouse style shop, but by its proper size, proper height of shelves which never overwhelming us, the exciting new items every week, I love to shop here every week ! Literally in Europe & here, I go to ALDI at least once a week !
