I wish I would've read the not so favorable reviews here, because they're spot-on. I got sick, just as some other reviews said....had the same nausea and was out of commission for 2 days. I've been much sicker, but, being out of commission for 2 days is still unacceptable. The owner (at least, I think it's the owner), is very nice and friendly, but, the place gets so crowded, that there's a line out the door and the place is very small and cramped to begin with. There's virtually no privacy, because the tables are on top of each other and when there's a line of people, there are people standing right on top of you, while you're sitting at your table. I ordered for pick-up and was told it would be 15 minutes and it ended up taking 35 minutes, which is significantly longer. That was the whole point in calling in ahead of time, so, I didn't have to wait there, duh.
I really feel that they need to hire more people, primarily, for when it gets busy. Even just one more cook and one person for waiting tables etc. That would help tremendously, with the customer service aspect/experience, in terms of waiting and in terms of the quality of food served, the sanitation, and the food preparation standards. It leads me to believe, someone's being cheap and doesn't want to hire anyone else....but, they really need it, desperately!!! That's a no-brainer to me!! I don't think some restaurant owners see the big picuture, in terms of understanding, that, you need to spend money, in order to get repeat customers and have good reviews. It's an investment and it will come back to you...you have to spend money, in order to make money.
The bottom line, is this place is under-staffed and it shows in the service and quality of food. People don't have that kind of time to spend on their lunch breaks, and there'll be people, who'll just walk away and leave, after waiting so long....and one cashier, and one server, doesn't cut it....and, that doesn't even take into...
Read moreI went in for my second time here yesterday. I had ordered 2 bowls one chicken and one steak . I didn't have a issue with paying $2.00 extra for the steak like the sign and the cashier had told me but when she put it in the computer instead of being 2.00 extra it came up as 4.00 extra. I had mentioned it to the cashier and was told that she couldn't do anything about it that it was the way the system of the computer and couldn't fix anything that I had to speak to the manager to get the 2.00 back. Asked what time they would be in and was told by 10. I called an hour later and the woman said that he wasn't in than just hangs up no bye not even If there was anything she could help me with I called again to ask what time he would be in but she just automatically picked up and hung up so I called for the third time tried asking her but she didn't want to hear me she hung up I called for the 4th time and she put me on hold I got so frustrated at this point of the horrible service that I had to call another store just to find out. The food itself wasn't bad and I definitely don't have an issue with paying a bit more but I definitely don't like being over charged for something that I'm not told seems sneaky and I will never go back based on the horrible customer service I received today when I called called especially over a question. The manager would be be in its rude don't care how busy or short hand you are you don't just...
Read moreOrdered here last night and it was basically inedible. I’m not sure what happened since the last time I was here, but the first bite I took was all salt. I thought it might be a fluke but I cut halfway into the burrito and same thing. All salt like someone spilled salt and still served it. The guac is also not guac and I wish I knew before spending ~$15 on that. It’s more like an avocado salad with guac ingredients but not mashed at all. Are you just trying to save prep time? I get when restaurants try to differentiate themselves, but why mess with what guac is supposed to be?! It grossed me out after a few hard avocado bites so I threw that out too. I also asked for limes on the side and they were ALL dried out. 3 didn’t give any juice and 1 gave like 2 drops. Idk if these were sitting out or uncovered in a fridge, but don’t offer them if they are this quality. When I ordered here previously, the guac was normal (it was very bland, but still normal mashed consistency), and the food was not extremely salty.
Sorry to say but I don’t recommend due to the inconsistency and quality of the food and the strange choices with traditional items. The guy working was very nice and I love that he confirmed what was in the bag and provided...
