I had to pull my other review April was very helpful. The 7 % I brought up is misleading because it has it back by the cookies and coffee on a rotation sign. It should say hom store only. I had my furniture delivered. I expected boxed furniture brought in and assembled like prior furniture in sections. Nope . I get two guys in a rush. First thing truck pulls up my sofas dragged out on its arm its only wrapped in plastic no furniture pads ,onto a lift gate. Then its lowered to another guy who drags it off on to a tared parking lot . He has a small maybe 16" by 24"roller cart approx 3 inches off the ground. He places cart on ground twists couch to line it up and lays it down. Now by himself . He starts pushing it up a 40 ft steep concrete ramp bumping bottom of couch as he goes. Now he makes a tight u turn banging metal rails going up next 40 ft concrete ramp again couch teeter tottering on cart banging ends off abrasive concrete. Now I hear a bang in the truck. I couldn't see. But now my chair gets dragged out. I'm sick because cancer trying not to yell. I hold door for guy with couch to get in bldg. He pushes cart in and tries to fit couch in elevator. Again too long so up on end dragging it in elevator. Now we're on 3rd floor . He lowers couch on cart again. Guy shows up with chair behind us in hallway. They carry couch in lay down. Take plastic off and plug it in and test mechanism for power. They bring chair in put it next to right of couch. They go to.plug it in . Electrical control box plug is smashed. He says he has another one. I think this must happen alot. I'm not feeling well cover furniture with brown queen blankets I bought to protect them and go to bed glad it's in they left. I'm at hospital a few days then I get home try out chair find out back head rest broken inside making noise. I also didn't notice right away but mark on back of chair. I call tell them they tell me the 27th several weeks before they can get here.I'm mad because I'll be at doctors again the guy hangs up on me because i say thats unacceptable.. I call back a lady tries to get me earlier she says. .I'm happy 19th. I decide to uncover couch look it over. The front bottom of couch seam seems on one end 1 inch off location. It's sewn and cut wrong or assembled wrong. I tip couch forward. Now I see damage from guy pushing couch up ramp and dragging it on the edge with no padding or cardboaard. The leather on the sharp bottom corner edge you cant see it unless you tip it forward is cut through. Where did you ever see a delivery company deliver furniture unprotected without furniture pads or proper equipment. They had nothing didnt work as a team lifting it on a cart . They rushed ,slid, dragged ,banged into everything They need to replace my damaged furniture. I'm really disgusted. I expected new boxed furniture assembled in my home $179.00 White Glove Delivery ,set up and take away cardboard boxes. What boxes ,what assembly . I got dragged ,dropped ,smashed damaged and as far as I no a used plug in box because the one that was in the plastic taken off had metal plug in prongs bent 90 degrees and plastic box shattered. I want a supervisor to my home. David klein...

I visited the HOM Furniture Little Canada store today in search of ideas and solutions to my living room furniture needs. I've recently visited other Twin Cities stores to browse and gather information, and found a few options, but they left me uncertain of my choice and confident that I had not found what I really wanted. I've purchased from HOM/Dock 86 before and was pleased with my purchases, so I came back to see what I could find.
What I found was: a beautiful, well designed store and shopping experience. staff EVERYWHERE, ready and eager to help me. Store Manager Chad ever-present, dedicated to helping ensure excellent guest experience and readily available as a staff resource. refreshments in a clean and welcoming environment. no-pressure shopping, assistance when needed.
BUT: more than that, I found an amazing resource that made my experience so noteworthy, I'm taking my time to write about it here: HIS NAME IS DAVID GRAY. David is a profesional Design Consultant at the store, dedicated to helping guests find the RIGHT solutions for their home, room, function of the space and lifestyle. He spent probably 40 minutes with me, asking questions, determining criteria, learning about my space, evaluating my needs, presenting options and giving me CONFIDENCE in my decision. Honestly, I got a custom professional interior decorator consultation ...for free. David truly was my advocate. He cared about me as a customer and as a homeowner who is trying to create a warm, inviting, elegant and comfortable place for family and friends to gather. In addition to being professional/friendly/kind, he was exceptionally sharp and savvy in determining my style, budget and goals. He invested personally in my success and helped me envision the perfect living room... the one I hadn't been able to envision on my own. David Gray is an expert at his job. I am thrilled with having had the best customer service I can imagine, and his help was PRICELESS in adding value to my experience. If you're looking for solutions to your home furnishing needs, ask for David by name.
I also want to mention another employee who added to my epic experience: Anthony Etuko. Sales Associate Anthony did much more than just assist me with a purchase in the Dock 86 area. He greatly valued my time, confirmed answers to my questions, escorted me on a search for coordinating pieces and quickly and professionally helped me check out. His cheerfulness, customer service skills and genuine caring only enhanced my overall experience.
When I make an investment in my home, I want to LOVE what I've chosen, feel I paid a fair price (at the end of the day, VALUE and quality are more important than discount) and feel justified in my purchase. David and Anthony exceeded my expectation in every way during this visit. It is obvious they love their job. Thank you HOM Furniture Little Canada for hiring/training/supporting employees who care about customers and have such a strong commitment to service... you knock it out of the park, every time I visit.

Read moreWe came into HOM looking for end tables to match our new sofas that were delivered that morning. I was on the hunt for a particular style and found exactly what I wanted. It felt like hunting easter eggs having to meander through, but my gosh the excitement when I found my dream end tables! We kept trying to find someone help us purchase them, and Mathlida was our angel to do just that. She was excited to help us and such an absolute joy! I told her I was hoping I could get them today since I'm a self admitted instant gratification girly. I wasn't able to get them same day, but was going to be able to pick them up the following day. No biggie. We completed the sale with her (and I'll 1000% be back to deal with only her) and started to head out. She apparently received an error that said their trucks wouldn't be running the same because of their employee banquet that night. She chased us down before we hit the door to let us know, and apologized but said I could get them Monday if that was still ok. My gosh as much as I wanted them right away, I can definitely wait. An employee banquet is a big deal and sometimes all parts have to stop moving so everyone can be present. I understand completely and don't mind a slight delay at all for that. So I have a slight wait, but the trade off is the company recognizing its hard working people and that's perfectly acceptable to me. I was so impressed She cared enough to chase us down and let us know instead of passing the buck and not letting it be her problem. She was so fun, kind, caring, knowledgeable and has the sweetest & most fun personality. If you're in the market for new home furnishings please stop and and see her. Also sneak into the in-between them & dock 86 for the free pop & cookies.....it's my 9 yr olds new favorite way to furniture...
