Incompetent & Deceptive

My fiance went in for a diagnostic run on his phone, since he pays for insurance, but they were unable to fix it and informed him that he had to send it in and file a claim. Which was fine, we had three back-up phones to hook up with service... all unlocked, factory reset, and ready to go. The associate was unable to connect any of them with service.. so my fiance asked what needed to happen so that he could have a working phone. He was willing to just buy a cheap phone temporarily until this could all be sorted out so he wouldn't be stuck with no phone. The associate was clearly flustered, unable to connect any other phone to service, so he sold him the cheap phone and changed his plan without his knowledge to where he no longer has insurance on either his new or his old phone!! So he now can't send his old one in to get fixed. When my fiance got home, he saw there was no receipt in the bag or box. He called up there and the associate REFUSES to provide him with a receipt. He's spoken with the manager of the store and they will not help in solving this issue. And NOW.. here's the real kicker, the store will not answer calls from his phone number. Based on previous reviews, it seems like this isn't the type of place that would do something like this.. but clearly this associate messed up and the store isn't willing to resolve anything. We're just going to higher and higher up until somebody within the Metro PCS corporation will help.

UPDATE: My fiance went to the Metro PCS store in The Colony off of 423, and the were able to hook up one of the old phones we had lying around, no problem. It took about 10 minutes. Due to the store in Little Elm off of El Dorado's deceptive and incompetent practices, my fiance was actually given a hefty discount on his monthly bill by calling corporate. Still won't allow him to return the phone, but we'll end up saving in the long run.

Update #2: I emailed the address left in the store's response and never heard back. Just stay away from this place....

This store is absolutely Horrible! Has no since of integrity, respect, or care for their customers. I was a new customer coming from T-Mobile just needing more info on my transfer. The employee or manager there told me he couldn’t do anything for me because I had no service with metro without even asking for my phone number or name even after providing recites of my transactions he just kept telling me I needed to contact customer service on my own because he doesn’t know anything. Which I find very odd. This Guy lied about pricing trying to get me to purchase again, lied about information on my service, lied about his name claiming to be “Sam or Rickey” and provided me very hostile and rude service. When I asked for a manager and their names they refused service and told me “ i could be the police”. I decided to check for a new location and went to the colony close near little elm and the manager their named Erick confirmed I did have an account with them and that they were just trying to get my money. I am absolutely furious because metro has no corporate or head to call to repot this incident. I will be staying with metro because of the wonderful service Erick has continued to provide at the colony location. I recommend not wasting your time or energy on this place. They do not value...

I recently stopped by this store and was assisted by Ali. Little did i know, he and my best friend had a very similar sense of humor, and we could not stop laughing. Let me just say that he is absolutely amazing at talking to you and walking you through the process! Not only did he help me set up my new phone, but he also made sure I didn't feel pressured into anything! It felt more like a real conversation than just a salesperson trying to get me to spend more money. ALI genuinely cares about making customers happy, and it shows. If you're ever in need of assistance at METRO BY T-Mobile, definitely go to this location! Ali was not the only amazing manager he was also super caring and understanding. Really, the whole staff there was super great! If you have a chance, please go stop...
