So, you go into the restroom and are confronted with a sign DEMANDING that you do not flush toilet paper in the toilet. Instead, there is a large garbage can filled with pooped papers. Nice. Perhaps they use it for appetizers. I had been here before long ago and the skirt, steak fajitas were very good. They are no longer on the menu. Instead, what you have is a choice of either brisket or ribeye fajitas. If you are not aware, brisket is the worst, and cheapest cut of meat. It is the garbage meat of the cow, costing much less that skirt steak. That is why you have to slow smoke it for half a day in order to make it edible. You can usually find brisket on sale for about $2/LB. When on sale, I cook it for my dogs, LITERALLY. As for ribeye, sale price is $5-6/Lb. It is also an inferior cut of meat because it is very fatty. So, they are desperately trying to cut costs with a much inferior quality. However, the prices at this place went up. So, where else did they cut costs? You guessed it, the service. The service was poor. There were only 2 people running around trying to serve everyone, and failing. A couple waiting to be seated turned around and walked out the door. That sums up the service. As for the atmosphere, go into the restroom, as I mentioned. This place is just another greed trap, trying to maximize profits while cutting quality and service. There is no coming back from this disgusting greed. To me, the place is dead. Now, what is really interesting is there is a fast, food taco place that has fajita tacos with REAL, SKIRT, Steak tacos and taco salads, just west of this place, on the same side of the street by the oil change garage that has very good food. Much better than Lost Jalapenos. I would recommend it. Or, also on the same side of the street, by the fire station that also has very good restaurant fajitas. Both are much better options than this. With that said, if you still want to try this place, do so at your own risk. Just be sure to use a restroom at a gas station before,or after,...

The manager and employees were on their phones in the kitchen and on the floor. They were also eating in the kitchen as we can see them. The food was bland and boring the service was inattentive and the food was stale. We waiting almost 15 minutes for the manager to get off his phone just to go and eat in the kitchen when we were ready to leave. I do not recommend going here I think it might be a safety hazard and the food is not worth the price. Also to add when I got my silverware the napkin was dirty not once but twice which was very gross. I watched the manager pour a cup of coffee ask a server if it looked ok she shrugged and gave it to the lady then the manager and I assume it was because he was calling the shots not that many were made. After the coffee was given to the lady the man smelled it from the pot and dumped it out. I can not in good mind recommended coming here the food was over priced. While we waited for the check the servers were all standing in the kitchen eating and talking. The straws were already placed in our drink without the wrapper on top nothing covering the sodas tasted old at did the food. Please do not go here it is not worth the price and the very bad...

Been to this restaurant several times and the food was always great and the service was the same. Went today for the first time in several months, due to as we all know the shelter in place notice. Ok now, if this had been the first time to dine there we would not be back. The service was terrible. The waitress we had was not to interested in waiting on the table or more interested in going outside. Had to flag her down to give our order and then again for salt and napkins. She never did bring our check, so we had to go up front to ask for it. Now the food. They must have a new cook or as my husband noticed he was on his phone, anyway the beans and rice were cold and I really mean not even a little warm. The enchiladas that was ordered, the cheese inside was not melted. The salt in the shaker was actually wet. It would not come out of the container. So I opened it and it was actually wet. Which was a big turn off. So like I said had this been the first time we would not be back. We will give it another try but not for awhile. Anyone else notice a big difference in service and...

Tried this place for the first time. It was decent. Food was fine. We were seated next to the window but they didn't have the shades pulled, so the sun was in our eyes and it was really hot the entire time. Felt like I was going to pass out from the heat inside. The owner accidentally spilled Coke all over my husband, like, not on the floor near the table, all over him. His chest, pants, socks, all soaked. They didn't even discount or comp for the accident. Figured it would be decent of them to comp our queso or our sodas or something. All in all for 2 adults + 1 child it was an $80 meal (fajitas, chile relleno, quesadillas, queso). And it wasn't a great experience for an $80 meal, especially when soaked in sticky soda.

The food quality is very good. We have been here several times and never were we disappointed. I recommend the carne asada, not only is it huge, the quality of meat they use is better than a fancy steak house, a the flavors are spot in. Everything I have had there has been delicious. One Improvement they need to do is the booths, they are pretty old and while not uncomfortable, I think it kinda gives a bad impression. Service has always been friendly and professional. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever ate at.

Real Mexican food hard to find in North Texas. Great location. Good lunch specials. I had the Mexican shrimp cocktail this thing is full of shrimp and flavor I could have shared it but I stuffed myself because it was so good add a little bit of Tabasco sauce it is excellent. My coworker had some tacos the meat flavor was very tasty even down to the rice and beans. Great views of the lake they have a patio in the back. I kept passing this restaurant for months wanting to try it and I'm glad I stopped in I'll be back soon.
