Keyland was extremely helpful and polite and accommodating. When the power went out and I thought he would close up for the day and I was out of luck, however, he patiently waited for it to restore and continued working with me until I had access to my unit.

While Keyland was a great experience, I am disappointed and a little (ok alot) agitated that a major selling point and deciding factor for me choosing this company over the many other was an online promotion currently running which offered a complimentary truck rental with all new units. Sold! I scheduled the truck rental and took out a lease on the unit. The confirmation page said to expect a follow-up call with details and when I never received that call, I called the number on the website. I confirmed my unit and my truck rental date.

When I visited the office today to check in for my gate access code and confirm the truck rental for tomorrow’s move-out day, I was told (pleasantly) that only certain locations have trucks and the closest location is Nashville and the website is not accurate nor is the call center. Well that would have been nice to know before leasing a unit as now all u-hauls and rentals are already in use or rented tomorrow and now I’m going to be stuck with a late fee for not having all my things removed in time so basically their false advertising really screwed me over.

I know that’s not Keylands fault so I don’t want to take away how great he was, while also sharing my saltiness for the extreme inconvenience this truck rental fiasco has been. Good experience with the local office but not the company in general… at least at this point but I love a good...

Absolutely terrible new management and “on site “ is a complete joke. Gate hours are supposed to be 6 am - 10 pm, bill is Always paid and there were 6 people in the parking lot tonight around 8pm all trying to get into our units but the gate refused to open for any of us. I am going out of town for work so it was critical for me to get some of the things out of my unit ! Called customer service - they are zero help bc they can’t get in touch with anyone local . No emergency number on the gate like it says on their customer service voicemail . On site manager NEVER calls anyone back , doesn’t answer emails .. ignores everything … this is a CONSTANT problem . New management is absolutely horrible at any type of communication … I am not only contacting the BBB , but I am about to file charges for theft of property . We pay too much money for our storage units to come to a facility that doesn’t have a working gate . Password worked - keypad turned green , gate just doesn’t open and there’s NEVER anyone around. At one point several of us were in the parking lot honking our horns trying to get amount to hear us either on camera or “mr on-site”. One man said he’d been trying all day to get in.. I will be taking my business elsewhere as soon as i return from my business trip. Haylie was is a nice manager. However be sure you read your contract very well. I surprised at the number of times my storage price changed. The grounds are really out dated and the numbers on the storages are all either falling or rotting off! The entire row my unit was on was not illegible! I had to get an entirely different lock so I knew which unit was mine! Don't dare get caught on the property 1 minute before they close because you be locked inside the property and there are no bathrooms & There is nobody on site to let you out! We had to call the police. They never showed up, finally we found some number on the fence and after 1.5 of calling they picked up! They charged me $50 just to open the fence so I could leave and go home! The location and semi isolation honestly was the reason i stayed. I wouldn't recommend this site! The back fence is a security risk and the homeless population is very busy after hours due to the Kroger dumpsters backing up to the facility! There is no over night security other than the camera system! So when you add the price, the run down units and no over night security and being locked in! I would give it a D plus/C minus maybe!
