T.J. Maxx — Local services in Livingston Township

The closing manager of the Gaylord TJ max on 1.31.25 literally rushed us out of the store as we were trying to pay for our stuff as they were closing. I had my 2 year old daughter with me and my card was rejected and I had to go grab my wallet from my car in the parking lot and the manager told me she had to go to Alpine bar and grille to pay for the whole tab there and needed to leave immediately…..????!?!?!? The cashier then asked if I wanted to get a TJ max cc and I said wouldn’t that take longer than me getting my wallet out of the car With my other credit card in it since this one isn’t working. The manager said ok but you have to do it very quickly or we will have to close “bc the lights will turn off automatically”…we came up to check out immediately after they announced store was closing and we checked out and it’s now 8 min after close …. As I was taking my daughter out of the shopping cart her boot was stuck and wasn’t sliding out immediately , and as I’m trying to get my whimpering daughter out of the cart the manager is standing there telling me ok yea we are going to have to do this tomorrow now…. Like WTH is wrong w you lady my GODDDDD. I was parked The first spot not directly outside of the doors…. Insane that this just happened and I had to explain to my daughter who is crying about her toys I promised her earlier bc of good behavior that sometimes in life things happen and plans change and we will get them tomorrow and it’s ok and that I’m sorry :/. We sat in the car writing this review bc of how upset I was and how sad she was just breaks my heart and for what? Bc the manager wouldn’t allow me to walk to my car to get my other cc.

Either or the fact that we were Literally rushed out after the amount of time we were there shopping and the manager saw us multiple times and knew we had a decent size cart full of stuff to buy just rushed us out like that and got frustrated with it being closing time and my card not processing and me needing to run to my vehicle to get my wallet ….along with my daughter crying and taking seconds longer to get out of the child’s seat on the cart bc of her boots getting stuck is mind blowing and disturbinggg….lets talk about the lack of compassion and or ability to do your job appropriately. No reason to not let me pay and get out of there within five minutes maybe extra at that point … they left fifteen minutes after kicking us out !?! Not impressed at all & that was...

High quality housewares and higher end merchandise for the low. Anytime I find myself in this store its usually only to buy some white tee's or some hair clippers because I've been on the road longer than expected and need to do some trimming before I start to scare people. But everytime I end up spending $100- $200 easy and if I were anywhere else purchasing the things I did here it would cost twice that much easy so I highly recommend you check this place out if you're ever around one and need some fresh digs or toiletries like cologne, body wash, nail clippers, hair clippers, or anything in between. They have sports equipment, Bluetooth speakers, selfie cameras, karaoke machines, housewares, toys, and much much more. Go check it out for yourself but be prepared to leave with a lot more stuff than you planned otr...

We are in the middle of a pandemic Michigan is very high there's a sign on the door saying please wear a mask but people come in without a mask and they do not enforce it at all I mentioned it to the manager and he said O we don't have to enforce that we're in America I it's everybody's right to do what they want so guess how the Virus is being spread.
